Welcome to Synchronicity. Once again, a regular podcast that we enjoy. You know, we're having times, that's for sure. Stuff is going on. There's no denying that. Still living in the now, still experiencing reality from the same localized place of consciousness, somewhere in your head. And experiencing everything is one unfolding kind of perspective that you know, oh, no other way to experience. Yeah, me too, cool. All right, cool, we're on the same page. What's going on? At least there's nothing going on out in the world to distract us from our mental wellbeing. Everything is totally chill in the world.
That's the best part about things these days, right? There's literally no conflict anywhere else in the world. So easy to just stay focused and determined and positive and feel like things are just constantly moving in the right direction, right? There's nothing drawing our attention away to some horrible crisis with seemingly no end in sight. I mean, you know, at this point, I think a logical wishful positive silver lining outcome is maybe no World War three. That would be cool. Doesn't seem like it's totally worth it. But you know, who am I to say? I don't run nations as far as I know. It'd be so crazy to find out that it's like, hey man, and like on a literal level, everyone who's alive is constantly influencing all events in reality, including the major political ones.
It's just like your decision. It's like, okay, well, I choose not this. That's like people like, no, I can't be that because who would choose this? But I dropped like a little thing on the Patreon, you know, I share more personal thought. I figure if people are like paying every month for content and stuff, they actually wanna hear like my unadulterated unfiltered, it's not that I'm filtering things here, but like listen, I can't tell you the blowback, I got blowback on two things for this podcast. Apparently there is a type of spiritual, you know, person who's interested in this type of shit, whatever it is I'm doing here, who really doesn't like Donald Trump and really was in favor of vaccines.
And if I'm sorry that I shattered the illusion of a type of person who was gonna be on the train for either of those things just in like a knee jerk way. Like again, I don't, I didn't vote for Donald Trump, I won't vote for Donald Trump again, although I do think the most hilarious outcome is him being president again. I mean, by then, listen, I don't even know what political thing, that's what the Patreon is for. But at the end of the day, I just don't like the knee jerk reactions. And I think that's part of what the trouble is, I'm not gonna recap the whole thing I put on the Patreon, but it's there, the gist of it is this, the condensed version is this, try not to let your attention get fractured and swayed so much to like sacrifice them at the altar of opinion, right?
Sacrifice at the altar if you need to be on a side for anything. It is perfectly okay to be like, you know what? I don't think people should be murdering other people, period, I definitely don't think those people should be like civilians on either side. I think a more humanitarian approach is the only way these situations get resolved. No one's getting rid of the other side, that's not happening. But also, be able to realize like, maybe there's nuance to this situation. Maybe there are generational things. Maybe there are political and geopolitical agendas at play. And if you're not willing to go like, become an expert on those things, certainly don't argue with people on the internet.
There's really no worse thing for you to do. I mean, there are worse things. You're like, you know, you could like punch yourself in the balls or something or, you know, hit yourself in the vagina, I guess that's not great. Don't do that either. But that's the physical equivalent of arguing with someone on the internet. When I was in my 20s, my early 20s, it's really like late teenager years too. The internet was still pretty novel, right? We're talking about the period of like 2001, 2000 to like 2006. Probably, probably even before then I kind of quit it. But like, it was so novel, right? Like everyone is just expressing their thoughts on the internet and like people don't realize that maybe even other people can read this and maybe they're revealing too much.
I used to drunk tweet. I had to go through years ago and delete so many tweets that were just, they didn't reflect who I was now and God forbid someone looked up. I also found out this is the most random thing ever. Whenever I got really drunk, I would yell about Italian people on Twitter. I have nothing against Italian people at all. But apparently there was something that was bothering me. It was like, and it was like, you know, like low level like jokey stuff. It wasn't like I was actually mad at Italian people and I'm like, why are there so many tweets about Italians? What the fuck is going on here?
My point is is that everyone does stuff on the internet at one time or another, especially when they're learning. You could be old in real life, elderly, but young and new at the internet. And when you get that sense of anonymity, even if it's not actually anonymous, and you go on the internet and you post some hot take or you react to your reply guy to something that is this person so stupid, please recognize you are accomplishing nothing. Never has a sound zinger of a point on the internet really truly swayed anyone's mind for any substantial period of time, right? Even if you know it's a good one and you're getting up voted and liked and retweeted and it's great, no one really cares.
They're gonna forget about it. It's not worth your time. And that's kind of, I don't say the war isn't worth your time. Pay attention to the degree that you can find stability, right? That's really what the goal is with all of this stuff. You could use the war as a proxy for just the external place. Your own personal wars, right? We'll see more paramount and present than a war in the Middle East. And I'm sure many of us are fighting wars at any given time within ourselves, right? Just with our thoughts, just with our feelings, just with our moods. That's why it's so easy to fall asleep again, even when we have these profound realizations and experience the power of our imagination and joy and getting into a positive gratitude loop.
It's why we can get off that train even from day to day, even within a day. You can be like, this is the most profound, amazing magical day of my life. And then like an hour later, you're like, ugh, this sucks, I'm tired, right? That happens usually, that's like a common occurrence. So my point is, is try not to get too sweet. It's listen, the easiest thing to do is prey on people's emotions. And I'm not saying there isn't real suffering. God, can you imagine, you know, just like chilling? I mean, granted you're an Israel, you probably it's like the most secure place in the world, but you think that no one's gonna come and kidnap your family, you know?
And that happens, putting yourself in that position, having children, thinking them in that position, it's heartbreaking. And you're gonna see this shit on social media, because it's what fucking drives you's and clicks and reposts and all those things, it's just there. So know what you're getting into if you're going there. You can feel that depth of emotion. You can like, you know, put yourself in that and empathize and sympathize with people. Also for Palestinians and, you know, on both sides of this, like living in Gaza sounds horrible. It sounds like from what I can understand, what rare glimpses we get in there from people who have been in there and come back.
They're regular people, they're just fucking people. They don't really want Hamas, a terrorist organization, storing rockets near them and then provoking Israel, which is clearly just gonna bomb the fuck out of them after that. Of course they don't want that, what do you do? And I think that's hopefully where like the sound kind of focus can come from this. Like Israel is gonna go in and fuck shit up. There's nothing that is going to stop that. Hopefully Iran doesn't get dragged into the war and, you know, all of the surrounding political countries. Like you have to understand also the Muslim world is not like for people who aren't aware of this or aren't Muslim themselves.
Like the Sunni and the Shiite, like they're completely different brands of Islam and they don't really like each other, right? It's not like they're super cool with each other. And there are different factions in different places and the Palestinians, they're used as kind of like puppets by the entire world in a lot of ways for, you know, political gains and regional power gains. And it's fucked up and no one deserves that type of life. But you shouldn't be supporting either the ruthless killing of civilians from Hamas or you also shouldn't be supporting, you know, at apartheid like state. The narrative of occupation is a little skewed depending on where you look like the West Bank is different than Gaza, but like it's definitely not great.
It's a bad situation. It should be addressed. I think people of all faith denominations, whether you have allegiance, I have family who lives in Tel Aviv, they're fucking super smart theoretical physicists like geniuses of humanity, right? But smart thinking, feeling people do not want oppression. So when political parties get involved and militaries get involved and there's all this intricate weaving of the global social media, do you really want to get involved with that? That's the question you have to answer yourself. Do you really want to get involved in the nuance and the subtlety and the deep, deep seated emotions that are involved in that conflict?
If you do, by all means, plunge into it, dive into it and do what you got to do. But don't argue with people on the internet, right? Please don't do that. Don't also do this thing. We love doing this shit. It's like our favorite thing. We make a fake version of someone in our head and we go, oh, that type of person. (groans) You're literally just, you're arguing with yourself. This is what people do and then people will talk about that on whatever platforms they have and they'll be like, "Please, people, blah, blah." It's like a holy shit, guys. This is not a real person you just described. It's a caricature of something that lives in your head and now you're getting mad at it.
That's ridiculous, right? Why are you doing that? So I only bring this up because I think it'd be foolish not to mention some, like this podcast is not very topical outside of the Miami Dolphins winning loss record. Four in one baby, it's fucking go. Seamless segue there. It's not very topically based. I've played around with the idea of bringing in more topical stuff. I pay attention to the news to some degree. I pay attention to aspects of pop culture. I'm not averse to it. But I try to have these things be as evergreen as possible just because I think a lot of the stuff I talk about should be employed at any given time.
Like you can just pop in and listen to something and be like, oh, this makes sense. It's like an eternal truth. You don't have to kind of have it be contextualized in a time and place for it to be accurate. So I don't love doing the topical stuff, but it is a part of my life and I feel stupid if I didn't bring it up. 'Cause everyone has to deal with this now. Social media is a field of battle at this point. It's like, I mean, the shit you see on TikTok, granted, I've been glued to it today. I put time limits on my phone. This is also an amazing thing that I do. I will set screen time limits on my phone for certain apps.
And then as soon as the warning is up, it's like, you're out of time. I'm just like, ignore, ignore that. Why would I not keep continuing to do this? It's like a fucking, it's a drug. There is an assault in a lot of ways from these. I don't think it's meant to fuck people's lives up, but like, man, you really do have to watch your level of interaction with technology. Just intuitively it feels. It's kind of fast foodie, right? And I guess you could do what China does with the youth there, which is just limit yourself to like educational, insightful stuff, right? Their version of TikTok does that for the young people.
That's a good idea, I guess. But also like, do you want to be on your phone all day, all the time? Probably not. There's other fun stuff. I'm not a phone shamer. I'm not someone who feels like you have to condemn or damage these things. I think it's kind of like drugs. You can do drugs if you're good at drugs. Are you good at drugs? Can you not let your shit get fucked up? Can you not become a detriment to yourself and your family and society, right? Then you can do drugs. You can do whatever drugs you want. I don't care. I'm not here to judge you. But if it's fucking your shit up, don't do those drugs.
It's the same thing with the phone. That really is generally my approach with this stuff. It doesn't come from a place of moral superiority. I certainly succumb to these same issues with social media and just like it's very compelling, right? It's very compelling. And then I see people who are like very successful at it as like a branding mechanism for whatever energy they're putting out into the world. And if it's a great message, that's amazing. I think everyone just kind of has to like realize how they want to use this stuff, you know, part of their life, they would like it to be. And we're all figuring it out, right?
That's the point of why we're here. It's why we've chosen to incarnate in such a wild, it's, I mean, what a crazy time. We really pick the hell, it's like coming to like the craziest party. Like incarnating as a person, as a human being is already like, hey, you want to go to some wild shit, you want to go to the world of death and mortality and duality and just fucking, you know, see what that's about? It's like, all right, I mean, that sounds pretty crazy, but I'll do it. And then it's like, all right, well, what time period do you want to incarnate? And it's like, how about we do, you know, late stage capitalism, you know, when the wheels are falling off of seemingly every global system in the world?
Can we do that time? 'Cause that sounds like it'll be pretty cool. They're like, are you sure? That sounds like really intense. And they're like, yeah, you know, it sounds intense, but at least we're not picking during a major war, right? And so far we've been relatively lucky with the war depending on where the world and you are if you're in Yemen, you're not like, hey, this is no war. There's war at any given time, but there's less war now than there has been in the past, as incredible and as hard as that is to believe. There's also more exposure for all this stuff, right? It's just each one.
I remember, I'm old enough to remember the Iraq war, the first war in 1992, right? With George Bush, the older one. And like that was when they were first showing like these missile strikes, like they were showing you these crazy fucking things on TV, which hadn't been seen before. And now it's like you're getting fucking the guy with the drone and fucking Gaza marketplace showing you rubble everywhere and fucking party goers in Israel at a side trans festival getting gunned down. It's like, what the fuck, Jesus Christ. Well, can we go back to the day where days where it took me like, you know, 20 minutes to download a JPEG of a topless porn star?
Is that, can we do that? That seemed maybe like it was a little more chill. It was definitely more chill. It's crazy how I didn't think it was chill back then. It was super fucking chill. We had a real like light. Like if you would just call someone and like if there would be a busy tone or they just didn't pick up, like you couldn't coordinate plans. You couldn't just meet someone there and find them that it was crazy. It was crazy. I'm gonna increasingly sound older and out of touch with the younger people. It just sounds like it's like regular shit, physical maps and stuff like that. Anyway, that's the intro to this week's episode.
We do have other things to talk about besides the war and warring things in the Middle East, which obviously is just, it's a clusterfuck. There's no watch or emotions is all I'm saying, right? That's the key because that really does shape your world and it is easy to get sucked into this stuff. And sometimes when you get sucked into it, it's not even about the thing. It's just like there is, it's like the ringing of a bell. So if you ring the suffering bell, you ring the rage bell, you ring the deep emotional melancholy bell, it'll start ringing other bells near it. It's like, oh, you don't feel so good.
It's like, hmm, you feel a little drained? It's like, oh, man, wow. Our thanks isn't going well in your life. Oh, are you a good person or did you fail at that? But all those bells can start ringing together and we're not really trying to do that because the truth and we know this is like, you really do are creating your reality with your mindset. This is a very rarely do we get, excuse me, like every mystic, religious, the, the esophical, philosophical, psychological people agreeing that like this is a thing. Like what you focus on really does create your reality on a deep fundamental level. So when you have that type of consensus, it's like maybe we should just pay attention, right?
But your body is also like it's an emotional filter and it will bear the marks of your prevalent emotion, right? Emotional disturbances, especially suppressed ones, which men, not all, not all men and certainly women too, but men suppressed emotions, no buen, it's not good for you, it's not good for her, it's not good for him, it's bad, right? That's the causes of all disease, disease. That really is, it's like, we will find that out. My kids, grandkids will probably, this will be so commonplace. The medical industry and world will recognize the clear impact of emotions on the physical wellbeing, especially the psychological wellbeing, all those things, they are one cohesive unit, right?
So it's very important to allow your stuff to come out. I think that was one of the issues. I literally will gain weight when I suppress my emotions because the way I deal with suppressing them is I literally use like food. I'm like, food will stop this emotion from coming up because food is yummy and yummy is good. So let me do that. You can do that with food, you can do that with a toxically positive mindset, you can do that with money, you can do that with sex, you know all of the things you can do it with, it's not hard to figure them out, but just make sure you let those emotions come out.
I feel particularly obliged to talk about this as we move into Scorpiosis season in about two weeks. You know, we got the new moon coming up on the 14th guys. It's a good one in Libra, set your intentions there, but we're gonna have a lot of stuff coming up to the surface here. So please let it out, let it out however you can. If you need to go scream into a pillow or just scream out of the pillow, if you need to go just get it out physically or just feel what you need to feel, spend some time with yourself. Do that because your body is gonna process it eventually. And it is a mark, it's a filter.
It's why you can look at someone and has nothing to do with the physical shape. I mean, I don't think nothing, but that's not the thing. There are people who have all shapes and sizes, but they're processing their emotions and you can see their vitality and you can see their health. And I know you know this from your personal experiences in life, right? So whatever you can conceive yourself as being free, like feel free and true, like these ideas, they have to be objectified. Your feelings are going to create the pattern from which your world basically is made out of and that change of feeling changes the pattern.
Do you understand another way of saying this? Like in every way your world, what you experience is out here, IRF, IRF and all of the peoples in it, right? Every detail of that is consciousness objectified, right? Objective states are constantly bearing witness to your subconscious impressions. If you change those subconscious impressions, which is what we're talking about almost all the time here, it results in a change of expression and then your world quite literally changes, right? So when you're making these internal shifts that are in true alignment with your faith and your belief, right, faith being loyalty to the unseen world, you don't see it yet.
Who could tell you it's true? There's no fact backing it up. You silly goose, you need facts. Then your reality conspires to make it visible when you're really having that internal shift that's a lie. That's why you can't fake shit either. Do you know what I mean? Like you can't fake stuff like recently, in the past few months, I'm like, what do I want to do? What do I want my life to look like? Like what do I, these are good questions to ask yourself from time to time. It seems very cliche to ask them when you're 40 years old and you're middle of crisis. But I was asking myself these questions and you cannot fake something.
Like, you know, I was like, well, should I do this thing on social media that I see other people are doing that they're having really good success with? Like I could totally do that. I could just like, you know, do my own version of that and copy paste this formula that seems to lead to success. And I was like, I can't do it. I cannot do something that doesn't feel authentic. I think it's one of the best things that I do really appreciate and love it about myself even if it can be annoying at times. I can't fake shit. I, it is so painfully obvious to me and to other people that when I'm forcing something that it just feels like wrong.
And I know better than to do it at this point in my life. And you know, like I said, it's not always easy 'cause like you see some things that would maybe work really well, but it's like, it's not, you don't do it. I can't do it. So always try to stay aligned with what really it is you care about, because that's just gonna give you the best results. It's gonna allow you to actually be inspired, get excited about things authentically rather than putting yourself in a box. Nothing is worth that, not money, not fame, not attention, not perceived love, not friendship. None of these things are worth it, right?
Just you kind of have to stay in love with your authenticity and then you will naturally figure out what you need to do, right? This is an unalterable fact and it literally would just like, it's relentlessly reflecting back to you, your belief about yourself, right? That is what the world's function is. It's your consciousness, right? That's what it is. It's not the world per se, but it is your consciousness, right? So you don't have to worry also. This is a key point that I think a lot of people, when you get into the thinking mind, this is like a kind of anxious, attached quality. So if you're one of those people, this problem happens for you, you don't have to figure out how difficulties are solved to have them be solved.
Now, this is very counterintuitive. It's somewhat illogical. It doesn't make a ton of sense. It's like, well, of course I need the solution to my problem. Mm, it will come. Just make the effort internally, do the things you would do as though the problem is solved and as long as you do that, if you're thinking feelingly and lovingly on any state, it will impress on your subconscious and that will come to pass. I know it's difficult. Listen, guys, financially my life has been one of extremes, extreme abundance, extreme lack, extreme abundance, extreme lack. And so I'm used to these oscillations.
I'm also telling myself at this day and age with three kids too, I don't want that level of swinging. I was very honest with myself. I think there's a part of it that's very exciting to me, especially in the past, like these wild swings and fortune, like you learn so much and you can get such an overview of what's going on. But at this point in my life, I'm like, you know what? Maybe I think just stable equanimity is the way to go. And that doesn't mean cash flow even. It doesn't mean rich to my wildest dreams all the time or poor all the time. It just means like, how about some a little less oscillations there?
How about learning the value of energy in different ways to store and use it and let it flow? I will probably never be someone who is like a tuck away abundance and put it to the side. I think that's how things stagnate and spoil at the end of the day. But I certainly am going to make far smarter financial decisions in the future just because I realized for myself, that's probably a wise idea. Do you know what I mean? But you don't have to worry. I bring this up because I'm saying like, I know what it can be like to be in a situation that feels hopeless. It feels desperate. It feels like there is no way this is going to turn around.
Doors are closed in your face constantly. But this aspect of perseverance that we can tap into is so fucking important, right? And I know it can feel like pithy or platitude to say like, don't give up, always try, always believe in yourself. And I know that's like the last thing you want to hear when you're just not in that mindset. But it's so fucking important. Go look at anyone who's accomplished anything of substance that you value in this world. I guarantee they put the time and energy into it, right? And that's something that has been misconstrued because I do believe imagination creates reality and we don't actually have to make things difficult all of the time for ourselves.
And there is this thing as effortless effort, but you like effort too, be honest with yourself. There is something good about the feeling of having put in energy into something and seeing results from it. Not just magically snapping your fingers and having things appear. Yes, that's cool. Nice party trick, dude. But like also really that journey and energy working towards things, it's valuable. We could incarnate in other dimensions where that's not necessary. You ever go to your dream world and you just think of a place and then you're there? That's place, that exists. That's very much disembodied spirits are doing that, right?
It's just, it's a real thing. So just like recognize like there is a function of how we perceive time linearly that is to our benefit, right? Now here's the cool thing about despair since I brought it up. One of the best things about it is usually right on the other side of despair is everything you've ever dreamed of. It's crazy. I know that sounds like hokey and silly, but it's really true. That is a signal. It's almost like don't become too in love with despair. You don't want to live in a state of despair all the time. But really that is where turning points occur, right? That really is something that can happen in your life if it's possible, if you believe it.
It's possible if you believe it is what I meant to say. So just please be aware that you possess this innate ability and right, the power of your inner speech and self-talk, talk, ultimately lies in imagining yourself to be fearless, calm and stress-free, even in difficult situations. I'd even add particularly in difficult situations. It proves its effectiveness when faced with challenging circumstances. Now this is a multifold thing I want to kind of talk about here, right? Number one, that's what this is for. Yes, it's amazing to get herself into positive flow states where things are working out and we've got a system and it's great and we're helping and we're loving and it's of course, that's incredible.
That's for the good times. That's like the non, the real power of all of this stuff is when that is not how you're feeling. And that is not how your life is going and that's not what you're perceiving. I can say this confidently now having tested it out through thick and thin, right? Through good and bad, right? Through various states of duality. The real power is when you overcome or use this stuff when shit is hard, okay? Listen, I love the idea that a lot of people in the kind of new consciousness movement have that everything can be and will be easy when you realize this one magical thing and you can open up your life and expand everything in the best possible way.
I honor people who are able to do that. That is not people's experience for most of their lives. It does oscillate, there is an up and down. Yes, can you constantly be moving upward on the spiral of awareness? Yes, you are, don't worry. That is what we're doing. But the let down effect of believing that everything will be amazing forever when you learn this one key secret. That's a real difficult thing to have to come to terms with. And internally, the way we deal with that can be very challenging and very stressful. And I get that, having experienced it multiple times in my life, will it prevent me from believing that everything is good forever when things are good?
Probably not, I tend to have a tendency to do that. But I just point this out because everyone is at a different stage at any given point in their kind of awareness of themselves, their own divinity, their own ability to create, their own ability to experience, their own ability to become actualized, to express themselves creatively, lovingly, to give love, to receive love. All these things, like that's something we all are capable of at any given point. But we go through different things. We go through different experiences that don't always fall on the wonderful, brilliant, amazing thing spectrum, right?
And I think I could have done a better job back in 2019 and 2020 kind of relaying that, trying to extend some hands to people who maybe weren't already feeling that this is possible or that they can believe this for themselves. It's why I ultimately do recommend things like the imaginal techniques, things like affirmations, things like being very kind, noticing your thoughts, paying attention to your mental diet. These things really are testable, they're empirical. I never will ask anyone to take my word for it. And yes, support is amazing. External reality can be a validator of our internal experience, but sometimes you don't feel like that's true.
Even if you know it, even if you've experienced it, but that's when this stuff is actually powerful. That's when that inner speech and self-talk and that belief and true imagining that you are fearless, calm and stress-free, even when you're not. Do you understand? Even when it feels like that is not true. It is not lying to yourself, but it is suggesting to yourself that there are alternate ways of experiencing reality and you don't have to be stuck in this particular way because usually if things aren't going so hot out there in the world, in your love life, in your work life, in your abundance life, in whatever it is, you know kind of the connection between how you've been thinking and feeling and what's going on out there.
Very rarely are you completely blindsided. Like people who may say, "Oh, what a change in fortune. "How did this happen?" You know how it happened, you know. People's minds are much quicker, much more perceptive than we like to give ourselves credit for. You can tune in. I think a lot of what we do is also just get better at like recognizing psychic shifts and emotional shifts in energy. I know at various times in my life, like I have clearly noticed upticks in awareness being like, "Oh, I'm actively like changing my mood right now. "Like I can feel this actually doing something," where other times it just feels like, "No, I'm not doing it.
"I feel like I don't know what I'm doing wrong," but it's not. And so just suggesting to yourself and kind of impressing upon your subconscious whatever you would like to call it and be tremendously helpful and powerful because you just have to get one of those kind of ideas down in there and let that kind of come up. There's this great Earl Nightingale quote of kind of talking about, "How do things come to pass in the world?" And he likens your mind to a field of soil and you can plant whatever you want in that field of soil. On one side, you can plant the most delicious non-GMO organic, amazing corn.
And on the other side, he gives the example of a nightshade, which is a poisonous plant. And if you consume it, you will die. You plant both of them, you cover them up, you water them, they get sunshine, boom, they both fucking grow, okay? It's up to you which one to consume and it's also up to you which one you want to plant. That is what your mind is. That is what your subconscious is. That is what this huge realm of knowing that our conscious mind attempts to reach through art, through creativity, through laughing, through whatever it is. That's what we're constantly trying to penetrate and kind of get ideas into.
Recognize the most effective way to do that is by paying attention to the stories of what you're telling yourself in your head. That's it. That's what generates on the screen of knowing, on the screen of awareness, of reality. That's what is generating your experience. So what are you planting? What are you actually planting? And are you surprised when the crop comes up and it's a poisonous nightshave because you've been thinking to yourself, "Ah, I'm no good, I'm a piece of shit, my life isn't..." I got no luck, it isn't fair. Why does this happen to other people? It can't happen to me. I'm not capable of doing this thing.
Look, I tried and failed, look at all these examples. All right, what do you think you're growing there? What do you think is going to come up? Are you gonna be surprised by that and then you're gonna eat it? And the experience, suffering? I mean, that's what we're doing and I think a lot of times when people are stuck in those types of states, just the idea that there is this ability to kind of shift our self-conception, our mood, our ideas with nothing but our own innate kind of gifts or talents or mind or consciousness, whatever you wanna call it, it can rub people the wrong way. And I definitely should have been a little more expressive about that I think when initially, I was just so excited when I found that you aren't condemned to a shitty life.
You aren't condemned to an unwinnable situation. You aren't condemned to an unsatisfying, unfulfilled, unmoving way of existence. You never are, that's up to you. Will it be difficult at times to shift? Sure, will it require some effort that maybe is a little more than you anticipated? Sure, can it completely revolutionize and change your world in all ways, good and bad? Absolutely. Don't open this fucking package lightly. Don't take the pill lightly, the matrix thing. I hate that everything's a pill now. Red pill, blue pill, black pill. Come on, guys, we got it, we got it, we got it. Take the pills, okay, right?
So just also, isn't it weird that like when you start being kind to yourself that good things kind of magically happen? Isn't that weird? It's weird, right? So maybe you should do that because I mean, what's the shame in that? So don't allow yourself to be hardened by the world. It's so easy to be cynical and doubtful and skeptical in a negative sense. A practice, the truest sense of the word skepticism, it's just questioning things, that's fine. But it's so easy to just be like, this is the problem. That's the problem. Things are like this because of that. This is, that's not how it works. You can't be faithful to two masters, to two gods, right?
You can't say on one hand, well, my own innate divinity creates everything around me. I truly believe and have ultimate faith in my power to summon forth beautiful realms of existence and whatever states of being I wanna experience. But on the other hand, be like, well, this government isn't letting me do this and the economy is bad. And well, this person has that advantage and I don't. I think I might have mentioned it last week, but I read a lot of the exit surveys on my Patreon when I stopped posting for like two years. And you know, some of them are really harsh. And one of them I think, I get this every once in a while.
Someone will be like, classic, white, cis, male, so entitled, so privileged. First of all, they don't know me, period. They don't know anything I've been through. They don't know anything about my life. They don't know what's been easy, what's been hard, period. So number one, you don't have to put too much stock into it. But the problem with that way of thinking, this isn't to justify injustices in the world. There are clearly things that it's like, ah, it doesn't look good. It just means like if you give that power, it is not self-blaming if your situation isn't the way you want it. It's self-empowering because you now have the tools to your own freedom and salvation.
Yes, we can identify conditions in the world that are fucked up, that are harder for people of color, that are harder for women, that are harder for people based in geographical regions. I'm not denying that, right? That's not something anyone would say, well, those don't exist 'cause I don't believe in it, but if that's your God, if that's the way the world turns because of those conditions, then you don't believe this shit, right? You fail the test, as Neville Goddard would say, and all I ask, no matter who you are, where you come from, what you're doing, try not to fail the test. Believe in yourself, believe in your divinity, to believe in no matter how much the odds are stacked against you in every possible way that your faith and your convection, in your sense, in yourself, in your own wonderful human imagination, that's all you need.
That in a little bit of persistence, that in a little bit of belief, that in a little bit of loving yourself and letting that love extend out into the world. That's it. That should be a reaffirming, happy thing to hear, but I understand that if you tell yourself stories about who people are, it can get clouded and lost in translation, and I think that's a shame. I think the absurdity of how identity politics are entering into normal, everyday conversations. I don't know if people were too caught up in that, but for people who are, I imagine, it's very difficult to navigate. There's a state of confusion, it can kind of elicit, which I think is intentional.
I don't think this stuff is by accident difficult for people to comprehend or kind of identify with, 'cause it really does sway you away. The world will do its thing, which is trying to convince you of its inherent substance and existence. That's what it does. It's like your ego. Your ego has to believe that it's real. It has to believe that it is a permanent part of your identity because if it doesn't, you ever take too many psychedelics, you see what happens? Ego death? Holy shit, it doesn't want that. That's what the world is basically trying to do. It's very real. Look how solid it is. Look at all these people in it.
Look at all this stuff. It's super real. Nothing about it is illusory. Everything is just the way you perceive it with your five senses. That's all there is, but we know that's not true. We've experienced enough in life to know that that face value just doesn't hold up, but depending on what you're going through and what's going on, it can be very difficult to realize that at times and understand that. It's okay if you fall asleep. I sent out an email. By the way, syncpodcast.com. If you haven't already, there is an email list. I just fired it back up. I gave a little explanation why I'd been away for so long.
I thought it was pretty good. It was good to see people getting back in touch. That's a wonderful way of staying in touch. I'm gonna be sending out regular emails there, not too many, not in an annoying way. I know people don't like that. They're gonna be giving you stuff. Free shit, cool stuff. Don't worry. Fun stuff. That's the best way to kind of stay in touch, but there are many things that we can realize in our lives that help us understand that this is up to you. No one is coming down with a benevolent hand giving you something unless you're willing to give it to yourself. And sometimes not blocking what you need is a better move than trying to create what you want.
Red light, green light. Remember that game as a kid? Red light, stop. Green light, go, okay? We have to be aware of what our internal relative to external, 'cause it's a reflection of the internal, states are. When is the time to green light? What is the time to push and go and put all of our energy in something? And when is the time to pull back, right? I learned this a lot from crypto, making and losing money in crypto. You know, sometimes it's go time. Sometimes it's fire the fucking rocket shit up. Let's go to the fucking moon. Sometimes it's like, you know what? Let's go back to earth to refuel.
Let's make sure we can get back there so we don't crash land. This is something that's applicable in all aspects of life. No one to go, no one to stop. Ask for guidance on that from yourself. Ask for the natural knowingness and intuition that can come along with that that allows you to experience the wonderful times and when to go, when to stop, okay? That's like, it's pretty important. And just please, guys, just stop all self condemnation. Be nice to yourself, please. It's like a pre-rec for having any success with this. There is, listen, it does help. I'm not gonna lie to hear this from other people.
You know, it's something that's helped me immensely in my life, but this is ultimately stuff you know, right? This is stuff that you can't feel or hear the truth or reality of any of this unless you do know that on a deep level. That's why, again, the empirical testing of this stuff is just such an important part of it because like, how are you gonna take someone else's word for something and totally believe it? It doesn't, it doesn't really work, does it? So you have to allow yourself to kind of test these things really put in the like, you know, man hours to get the belief engine running. That's a clunky analogy, but it is nevertheless true.
All right, well, how long, jeez, was this like a real deal? Yeah, a real deal, oh my God, so long. Got the energy back guys, what can I say? Guys, there's a lot of stuff going on in the Patreon. If you listen this far, I can guarantee you will enjoy it in there, we're doing a new thing. We're trying it tonight. This will probably be out before it, so you could jump right in. We're doing a new thing. We're gonna do some fun like music stuff. I was listening to Jay Dilla's Donuts, the album, the other day, which is just such a classic. Every song is in there great. I'm like, you know what? Why don't we listen this together?
Like kind of like half Mystery Science Theater 3000, half just listening to the music and having a good time on a live stream. So we're gonna be doing that tonight, 7.30 PM Thursday, October 12. That's gonna be on the Patreon. We also do weekly tarot readings there. You may see them on Instagram. We do monthly Zodiac stuff. I'm playing around with the idea of how to do that. I wanna make sure that people are actually interested in it 'cause it is quite a bit of effort every month, but also music. Like I just the past week have gone and collected all of these sketches, ideas, fully finished songs and put them into a folder.
I'm going on my Lander profile, which is how I distribute on to Spotify. I'm gonna be releasing a ton of stuff. Ton of stuff. I don't know why I said it like that. Over the next couple of months, I will pre-release it over on the Patreon as downloadable files that everyone can stream and download if they so choose. That's the main place I would say to go to check out. The energy readings have been going great. Thank you to everyone who signed up. I know we've been having a good time there. Listen, only sign up for those if you are really ready to kind of take accountability for your world. I can kind of help massage or help with areas of how to get focused, but like this is a commitment.
The reason it costs money, by the way, the reason I charge for any of this stuff, A, there's that energy transfer. I don't feel like at the justify this, but I just want to be clear about this 'cause I know sometimes I get questions. It's like, hey, this is expensive. Or like, hey, why don't you offer cheaper things? B, my answer to that is I do on Instagram all the time. I'll do much cheaper, not cheaper, but like less costly options for people that are like recorded and I'll send them to them. But working one-on-one with someone requires an energy investment from both sides. So that's what they cost, what they cost.
I don't feel like I have to justify it, but I just want to be clear on that 'cause I know everyone has their own perspective and intuitions about money and stuff like that. Other than that guys, we're just having fun. You can tell the podcast is back. We're doing cool things. Oh, I will drop this at the end. Live event, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, November, December. Stay tuned. You will get a discount and early ticket link on the Patreon. If you're interested, it's gonna be cool. I will mention the names of people who are doing there. We're thinking live podcast forum, maybe a little after party ever, after it's gonna be cool.
Maybe some party favorites, wink, wink, notch, notch, you know what I mean? It's gonna be a cool time, so stay tuned for that. I'm happy to announce that that will be happening. We will get the details together soon. Other than that guys, just stay cool. Stay calm, stay breezy, stay classy. Love you, I'll see you next week. Bye bye.
