(upbeat music) Welcome to synchronicity. I'm still alive. I've been in LA, which is maybe, maybe I'm dead because you know what LA feels like for those who have not spent time here. And I'm talking like, I know what the fuck I'm talking about and I don't. I've been here for like what, six days? It's like San Junipero in Black Mirror, you know, when everyone's dead and they go to this like Utopian place and they can choose to live there for as long as they want. And you know, that's kind of what it feels like to me. So I'm stuck here. I'm in San Junipero. I stayed for an extra day. It's gonna be fucking awesome.
But I have to put something out, it's 11, 11. It's a podcast called Synchronicity. I'm basically, I get kicked off the planet if I don't do this. So I decided there's a lot of stuff. I'm gonna do an LA recap. I've hung out and met so many incredible people. I'll do that when I get back to the East Coast and process it. I'm still in it. I can't unpack it while you're in it. Can you? Maybe, maybe you can. Oh shit, you can. But I'm not gonna do that now. But what I am gonna do is answer some of your questions. And if my voice sounds like extra gravelly, it's 'cause I'm still on East Coast time. So when I wake up at eight, it feels like I've overslept.
But yet I also haven't gotten enough sleep. I don't know. It's just in my imagination, right? But we're gonna answer some questions that you guys have had and I will address some things that haven't been specifically asked under the auspices of the podcast. But nevertheless, people have been asking me about. So I think we have, what, five or six questions. So we'll go through those. And then I will talk about, basically, we're moving, in case you can't tell, we're moving from fear and doubt to faith and expectancy. And we're also using our subconscious mind, which really is our intuitive heart.
And this is gonna have a big impact on 2020. And so I've been telling people like individually in my thoughts on 2020 and what that means. And the whole thing, oh my gosh, is this a hot mic? Yeah, it is, shit. Let me turn that down. Okay, that's better. Good rule of audio. You always wanna be more quiet, as opposed to being too loud. 'Cause you can turn it up, but once it's too loud, it's degraded. That's just a good rule of life too. Okay, so let's get into these questions. Number one. Oh, well, this first part is just a compliment. I won't read it, but it's nice. Thought, oh, it's a tarot question.
Okay, okay, okay. So he says, "I have a Thoth deck and," or Thoth, I don't know if I say it, whatever. "I have a Thoth deck and was wondering "what helped you in the beginning with the tarot?" And actually, several people have been asking me this, and this is where I kinda get frustrating for some people and other people know what I'm talking about. So I don't use tarot. I've got one audio book called "The Essence of Tarot." I listened to it, and I think I got more from it in terms of what not to do, in terms of my personal approach than actually stuff. Like it did lay out some very amazing connections between tarot and astrology, and that has been very helpful.
But my approach to tarot and all divinatory oracle readings, whatever you wanna call them, is you remember how you like to do it. If this is something you're really gonna be doing, you have to trust yourself that you know what this is. And the cards are always you, regardless of the deck. So there are mechanisms in which we use a deeper part of our subconscious, our heart, our soul, our higher self, whatever you wanna call it, to communicate to ourselves. I would help me learn that more than, like yes, I do my own reading sometimes and all that stuff, but doing it for other people really validates that, because you see the cards just being the people.
And you just say them, they're like, oh my God, how did you do that? I'm like, I didn't do anything. Like I'm just interpreting these cards and things come up because of that and it's you. So of course it makes sense. So I know it's frustrating, but basically, you gotta trust yourself and allow yourself to know the answers to these decks. Numbers can help the number of the cards, the suit of the cards. All of these things are little inroads, but it is a process of just trusting who you are and what you're doing and why you're doing it. And that's also just for life in general. You know what I mean?
It's like, it's just a good thing to do in life. Okay, number two. Because you're just a good answer, I was good. Number two, creating situations of actual circumstance. There's a difficulty to actively, or feels difficult to actively feel the reaction to something that appears to be only internal. Okay, okay. Yeah, here's the thing though. You gotta remind yourself that this world is actually less real than your imagination. Do you know what I mean? Like that's the key there because you'll then start reacting to things in your imagination or just what you feel and believe internally as though that's the actual reality, which it is.
And then watch what happens to external reality, which we have assumed is the real thing. It's pretty incredible. It's pretty incredible and it happens and it works for everything. And like, you know what? There's karmic knots here, there's tension points. There's things that we're both aware of and unaware of that create those tension points. But when we recognize we have the ability to transcend and select states of consciousness and circumstances that allow us to get past those things, we start to slip into a level of effortlessness that is nice. (laughs) I don't know how else to say that. It's nice.
So yeah, you are feeling it. If you're doing it in your head, just know that that's real. What I've been saying a phrase, so I'm just gonna interject here, to the degree a lot. And I think I'm saying it because of astrology and like there's the degree to the degree. But I'm trying not to say it 'cause I say it way too much. Now it's like, now it's become like a thing for me. So if you hear me say it, sorry. And I know you don't care, it's just for me. But yeah, just start taking your imagination seriously in a fun way. Don't take it seriously in a heavy way. Just know that that is actually what's real.
Then you'll actually respond to it as though it's real and then you're really on to something because then you're getting it. You're you got it is the truth. What you do, and to be clear, like you're doing this all the time, like most of us wouldn't want to will in a state of depression or anxiety or something like that. But yet we feel it and we react to it as though it's real and therefore it is. So we're doing it anyway. Okay. Number three, collective dream. Oh, that he didn't write that with that. Have you ever done a group dreaming? Like say for example, this week let's all imagine such and such together and see what happens.
Would you be interested in assigning homework to those of us who would participate? This is a cool fucking idea. And no, I've never done that. And yes, I'm going to do that. So let's come up with one right now. I guess the function of this would be to prove that if we collectively are setting our intention for a specific event, that would happen. So I want to tweak this a little bit. And let me just pretty open it. And I guess I just made that up. But let's do this. So we will all experience something individually, but have the collective intention to experience it. So let's pick something this week.
Let's imagine finding a, something we'll find or see. Let's, what's something sufficiently weird and that everyone would have the opportunity to see. How about a cloud shaped like a bird? And I know that's like, oh my God, it's clouds. They could be anything, it's like a roar shark. But it's got to be like a real bird, you know what I mean? It can't just be like, this kind of looks like a bird. So you're going to have to use it. We're going to start small and nebulous and cumulus. Oh man, let's see, this is just changing my mind. So let's start with, now fuck a cloud. That's too stupid. Let's find, let's do, what's something cool?
Just bear with me while I think of something cool. I mean, I have a lot of cool things, but not everyone is going to want to do those things. All right, someone will give you, I know some people don't like the money stuff, but someone's going to give you some money that was completely unexpected. You're going to get some money. So just imagine that. You don't imagine the scenario. You imagine the feeling of it having happened. So do this as a dream exercise, because this is the dream. That's what we're getting to here. So yeah, someone's just going to give you some unexpected money, an unexpected source.
And it wouldn't be through a traditional means. You know what I mean? You wouldn't be like, oh, well, these people owed me money. Well, I guess it could be that, but something unexpected. So just imagine that and see what happens. That would be fun. OK, it was more of a direction than a question, but I liked it. Number four, how to hold doubt. And what's the relationship between knowing something is going to happen, but still having doubt or having doubt come up, but then the thing still happens. And then I also added, what about the converse of that? So you're imagining this horrible thing. Oh my god, feels real.
And then it doesn't happen, right? So something is going on there. And this is a great question. And this is a threshold guardian question. And boy, oh boy, those threshold guardians happen popping up, right? Big time. I mean, the Mercury retrograde Scorpio season, karmic purge going into the age of Aquarius. There's so much shit, right? So doubt does pop up. We get good at trusting our subconscious. I'm reading a wonderful reading. I'm listening to a wonderful book by James Murphy. Or is it Joseph Murphy? Fuck. God, do you think I would know my shit? But sometimes I don't. Joseph Murphy. So Joseph Murphy also studied with Abdullah.
And Abdullah was Neville Goddard's teacher. But there's a kind of a shift in perspective. Now, Neville Goddard has dealt with ideas like subconscious, unconscious mind. But he's pretty mystical, for the most part, Neville Goddard. And Joseph Murphy-- why am I calling him James Murphy? Joseph Murphy kind of took him more-- well, there's certainly elements of spirituality and mysticism embedded in what he talks about. It's more kind of the subconscious and conscious mind and how to build the bridge there and make that connection. And for anyone who's into young and dream analysis and all this stuff, it's kind of like your ears perk up.
And you're like, oh, what now? So it's a more, I would say, grounded in Earth-based and tethered earth energy approach to our unconscious. So what's cool about it is it's practical. There's not the same techniques, but similar techniques that get us in touch with our subconscious. So what's going on with doubt and a lot of the other threshold guardians-- maybe all of them. I'm just not thinking about that right now. But specifically, doubt is our conscious mind gets involved, especially when we know something is going to happen. We're sure of it, for real. But doubt will still pop up, right? That's our conscious mind interfering with a deeper level of conviction that we have.
And this is neither good or bad. It's neutral. So what it means is that if we are delivering a state of consciousness or a circumstance that's uncomfortable, it's going to work just as well as if we're doing it for something that's comfortable, or we want, or a desire that we think will be beneficial for us. So doubt comes in to-- in both forms, right? And this is what I was saying. Like, it comes in because you know this great thing is going to happen. You can feel it, but then doubt's still there. Like, what the fuck? But again, like you can be imagining something horrible and feel it so much, but then it just doesn't happen.
So there's something going on there. That something is that subconscious power of what you actually believe is deeper and felt more than what your conscious mind is trying to communicate. So we can do a few different things to deal with doubt and other threshold guardians. One is to recognize it's just us testing ourselves. We're pressure testing. We're strengthening the muscle of faith and expectancy and belief. So what tends to happen is, think of it like, again, I'll use this. Gosh, I'm using push-ups as a fucking metaphor now. OK, I think I've already used it too, which makes it even worse.
But when I'm doing push-ups, when you start, right, you can only do so many. I do like 10 or 15. But as you continue to do them every day, you strengthen the muscles where those first 10 hour air, it's no problem whatsoever. Now the ones 25, 30 are like, oh, those are pretty tough. But then you keep building up. And that you're strengthening a set of muscles in that, right? In the same way, you strengthen faith and belief. And doubt still comes up because you want to pressure test this stuff. This is another thing I've been talking about with people, which is you want to make sure when all the good things flow into your life and the positive ramp up and level up experiences, you're ready for them.
And you can actually experience them joyfully without guilt or shame or worry or doubt. So you want to kind of pressure your tests yourself if you're smart before those things start to ramp up and amplify themselves. Because then when all the good things happen, all the boons come, your shit is good. You know what I mean? Like you're fucking good to go. You don't have to worry about anything. So that is what I recommend you do with all of these things. But especially doubt, because doubt does come back. I get doubt. Oh my god, please. It's mercury retrograde. Like I said, all this shit comes in droves.
But they're like little echoes now. And they're things that I know had to deal with quickly and effectively because I have practiced now. And now I'm on like, you know, I'm doing like 500 pushups a day, psychically, not physically. God, that'd be, I mean, how many-- that's like it's just a lot of time at that point. 500 pushups a day, right? And that's like, it's an hour of pushups or so, I don't know. But yeah. So just strengthen that stuff. Because you're going to keep experiencing it because it's something that propels you forward. But it doesn't have to consume you and overwhelm you. You'd start to look at doubt and other things as like positive little helpers in your life.
So anxiety can even be used like that. Sometimes what we perceive as anxiety is just us precognatively tuning into an event that is big and amazing and life-changing. But we feel it before it happens. So we get freaked out and we're like, oh my god, what is that? And I'd say it's like, think of going up a roller coaster and knowing you're on a roller coaster. And you're about to have this fun ride. And it's perfectly safe. Or if you're just going up this cliff and you don't know what's going to happen, you just get pushed off at the end. Your reaction to those two things is totally determined by what you know the result is.
So that's where imagination comes in is we set the fucking result. The means are different, sure. And it may look totally crazy at some points, but the destination is there, my friend. And your belief and expectancy is quite literally what summons it forth and allows it to unfold. OK, that was a good answer. May of microdose. Five, question number five. I've figured out what it is that I want the most at the moment, which is basically just to be functioning at a high vibratory state. Not just for my own sake, but for the benefit of my relationships and the people around me. My mental health, moods, and energy levels have all been relevant really and consistently, has been taking quite a big toll on my life work.
Wondering what kind of scene I could surmise that would be the most effective for helping me manifest this desire. At the moment, before I fall asleep, I've been imagining a scene where I wake up feeling really switched on and good. I've been combining this scene with sensory details such as birds chirping, the physical sensations of lying down in bed, the visuals of looking at the books on my bookshop. OK, great. You're doing it. You know, the inconsistency is what I would refer to as oscillation more than inconsistency, because inconsistency is kind of like we judge ourselves for that. It's like, why are we not doing what I'm supposed to be doing?
It's like, don't do that. It's just you're oscillating between states of consciousness and that, again, you know, use this tuning analogy. We tune the strings of our instruments so they're in the right key so they can play the right music. You're in the process of tuning yourself up. But I will say, just based on what you wrote, I caught something you're doing and you might not have seen it. Yeah. Here it is. My mental health, moods, and energy levels have all been really inconsistently and it's been taking quite a big toll on my life work. You are creating that for yourself by writing and expressing that, OK?
Change that sentence. Here's what you said again. My mental health, moods, and energy levels have all been really inconsistently and it's been taking quite a big toll on my life work. It's OK to recognize that. It's OK to discern that. I'm not being too hard and I see you're putting in the work to do this, but I wouldn't even really acknowledge that. You've created now a belief and a pattern that exists in the past. The propensity for that to continue into the future is like everything else in this world. You create something. It's there. And then lo and behold, it's created. It unfolds. So be aware that that's what you're doing because you can change that sentence, change that state of mind, and you're fucking good to go.
So do that. Number six, if we're all creating our own reality with her-- and just go back to that other question. I don't want to leave it too quickly. Just pay attention to your mental diet. Pay attention to what's going on in your life and what thoughts you're telling yourself. There's no limit to this imaginal stuff. The limit is our belief of where we jump off and it doesn't work, whether that's our health, our wealth, our success, our relationships, transcendence, enlightenment. It's up to you. Just don't forget, you create it all. Number five, number six, if we all are creating our own reality with our imagination, how do you explain things, whether they're good, bad, or indifferent, between never consciously or subconsciously imagined?
Take, for instance, a seemingly miniscule event that may occur while driving. Even this morning, I happen to notice a large garbage truck switch lanes after which turned on these rear lights in a beautiful shade of blue. This seems to be a meaningless occurrence and certainly not one that I would have imagined. I haven't tried to think what could something so unimportant lead to. Can't come up with anything and there are a lot of details like this that happen in everyday life and I think I responded to you and then you're like, that doesn't make sense. And I believe what my answer was is you do imagine things even the things you don't remember.
Deja vu is an instance where you catch for a second that you imagined something before and now it's playing out. I had one the other night at this bar in LA. And it's usually in the future or in the past. So there's the distance to it. So we can't fully recognize it for what it actually was. But while I was in this bar at the Comedy Store-- is that what it's called? Comedy Store, yeah. Saw Duncan. He was great, by the way. It was cool. I ended up saying they were basically-- not basically, until they closed. It was a really fun time. But I was talking to a girl there and we were just talking. She had lived in LA for six years and she wasn't tired of it.
And her boyfriend had just moved there four months ago. And he was just totally loving it. And I got this sense of deja vu. It was like, holy shit, I've been here. I remember I had a dream about this or something. So that's us remembering for a second that we created everything around us, which is a lot to take in because the people are there. All these things in the field of your vision, that's you too. But you are doing it. If you make the misapprehension that you're just paying attention to the things that your senses are telling you, it will tell you that that's impossible. There's no way you could be responsible for everything, everything, everything.
It doesn't make any fucking sense. But it is true. It's 100% true. And you don't have to-- I got-- I'm trying to eliminate-- when I tell people they have to do things. I'm offering you the suggestion that to look at things that you are responsible for everything. You do create everything. What we all do-- it's like our own individual movies. I haven't finished the "Taphty of the Princess" book, the "Reality Transurfing" thing, but "Man-o-Man." This trip here has showed me that a lot of that stuff is very accurate. This idea that we are this frame or this slide in a movie film, and we move that frame along onto different slides of projections in this world makes a fuckload of sense based on my direct experience.
So yeah, all of these seemingly little, unaccountable, improbable things, the complexity, the details, like, how amazing is it that it actually is you? You actually did that. And when you can really get that, you start to just take joy in everyone else's joy and success. You start to move not only into 5D consciousness, this unconditional acceptance, forgiveness, and love. But you start to embrace 60, because collaborative, open, sharing skills, talents, loves, like, it sounded real culty for a second here I'm not talking about, polyamory. Well, there's probably an aspect of that, but that's not what I was referencing, yeah.
Sharing loves-- oh, love, it's like that Saturday Night Live sketch. They ruined the world. Will Feral and Rachel Dratch, that's such a good one in the hot tub. But sharing your passions and your loves for things you like, I can't say that word well now right now. But really opening into that 60 collaborative space, harmony between multiple parties, it's a wonderful thing. And our gateway to that is recognizing that we do create and sustain our reality. And that includes everything. And that's a pretty magical place to live from. And as you can tell, I've been living from that space for a while.
And it's great. It's truly wonderful. So this brings us to-- this is just the Q&A. How long have I done? OK, yeah, we can do some more. I've been away for a while. I also have a shitload of podcasts that were recorded. So I will be putting those out when I get back. I'm coming back Wednesday now. So expect something like Thursday, probably. And then we'll get back to a regular two, three episodes week. OK, from fear and doubt to faith and expectancy, this is what we're doing right now. We're moving from an age of fear internally and externally, which remember, your internal world just is what projects out the external world.
So you're moving from this internal state of fear and doubt to faith and expectancy. And that is fucking awesome. And congratulations on that. It's wonderful. So this is a process. It's not something-- I mean, it can happen instantly, but unpacking it and consciously accepting it seems to take some amount of linear time for most people. So we'll be walking through this over the next few months, couple of months in 2019. And then we should be sitting more comfortably in-- I sound like a pilot. I'm realizing, like, yeah, we'll be cruising up to 33,000 feet and then going to our final ascension of 42,000, where we'll be flying smoothly for the next five hours.
That's-- you know, oh, the pilot the other day when we had a little turbulence was like, you know, we just can't control mother nature. And I was like, dude, I want the pilot. It's like, I've learned how to control mother nature. This is-- dude, me bad guy. Anyway, that's the analogy is this is what we're doing. We're moving to a new destination, maybe physically, maybe otherwise, but certainly internally. And it's better in the sense that when you don't have fear and doubt dominate your life and you recognize them as helpers and friends and maybe little tricksters sometimes that are helping to get-- see things, shit is just better.
You feel better and you can operate as who you are supposed to be and you can do what you've always wanted to do. And what I've found is you do those things and then they just blossom into other things you didn't even know maybe you wanted to do. And then you do those things and you're like, wow, this is so cool. I love this. So that's faith and expectancy. What do I mean by faith and expectancy? It means when you use a technique, whether using your subconscious mind, imagination, plant medicine, meditation, exercise, literally everything, you trust it. You have faith, you have loyalty to the unseen world, meaning the thing you imagined or envisioned or experienced or felt or believed.
You just don't-- yeah, doubt may come up to say, hey, are you sure? And you go, yeah, I'm fucking sure. I'm super sure. So that's all well and good if you've practiced with this and it's somewhat natural to you, but what if it's not? How do we do that? This is where I've found for people who have a difficulty dropping their logic on analytical minds. What they can do is use this paradigm of subconscious conscious. And I use the cards for this a lot with that bridge of destiny spread. And it's great. So again, just to recap, your conscious mind is masculine. It's objective. It's rational. It's selective.
It's aware of things. We're awake here. We can be aware of something we want. If we go to our subconscious mind, it's feminine. And this is nothing to do with gender. It's non-objective. It's subjective is the word I'm looking for. It's impersonal. It's non-selective. It's irrational. It doesn't mean bad. It just means if we deliver a state of consciousness to it like a feeling, it gives us that no matter what it is. If it's happiness, it gives us happiness. If it's depression, it gives us depression. I'll use the same analogy. If we say, I don't want to be unhappy and we feel unhappy when we say unhappy, it delivers us that.
It hears unhappy. There you go. So we are trying to correct or get good and adept at this process of having our conscious mind, use it, stabilize it, deliver a message to our subconscious, which then inevitably allows it to unfold and not doubting that process. So again, the techniques I like to use, let's talk about a different one. I always use the visualizing one. See, it's 11/11. Let's do some sound stuff. I like to, let's revisit using your friends' voices as angels. So you imagine, oh, I know, it's 'cause I'm in Los Angeles. This place is so fucking weird. Wait till the recap 'cause holy shit.
Anyway, I'm just calling it San Junipero, fuck it. We use our friends' voices to deliver the good news. And what I mean is you're finding this liminal boundary as you're in this state between going to sleep and sleeping or smoking weed in this world or just realizing this is how everything works. You imagine your friends reacting to you in the way that they would react if the thing you wanted actually had happened. So they just say, oh, wow, that's so great. You got that. I'm so happy for you. And just go through all of your friends or a few very special ones or one and just have them react as though the thing has happened.
And you'll start to feel like that. So we can use this to deliver messages to our subconscious. These parts that are hidden from our conscious mind. It's 11/11. In California, on 11/11 caught that pretty cool. And I haven't been waiting for it. I was just like, what time is it? 11/11, of course. So use these feelings and angel voices to essentially impregnate your subconscious mind and allow it to happen. Think of it like where an actual baby is made. Making babies sexual healing. Although, whoa. (laughing) It's a good song though. Go listen to everyone go listen to sexual healing by Marvin Gaye.
It's just like when you get it. Also, the other thing is like when you kind of like wake up to this shit and music gets so much better. Yeah, I don't even know how to describe it and I love music. But anyway, think about a baby. You make a baby. Pregnancy is the thing. You don't look at the stomach constantly and say, "Is the baby still there? "Is the baby through? "What's the baby gonna do? "Is the baby gonna do it? "Is the baby gonna do it?" 'Cause what happens is the baby comes 'cause it's a part of the process. It's just like this when we impregnate a state of consciousness in our mind. It's coming, it's 100% coming.
Everything has its gestation period. Everything has its time and place to unfold. Don't question it. At worst, you can delay it. You won't destroy it. You don't really abort it. You can always plant other seeds into your consciousness and have those unfold. So that's always, your subconscious mind is like your intuition. It's your intuitive heart, right? When we talk about heart space and we do wanna balance our heart and our mind, right? Not just one over the other. And our mind is that conscious awareness. And I know, I'm using terms interchangeably here. It's the masculine and our subconscious is the intuitive part, it's our feminine.
And we balance those energies like that too. We balance our elemental energies. Earth, wind, earth, air, fire. I almost just said heart. I'm basically just Captain Planet. Earth, air, fire and water. When you balance those, you get the quintessence, which is the philosopher's stone, which is the realization of everything. And this world becomes a lucid dream and it's amazing. But we're balancing all of these energies and just be patient with yourself, okay? Be patient with the people around you because they're you too. If you have a strong imagination, imagination, make sure you're not creating situations for other people.
If you think someone's a schmuck because they're acting schmucky, but you're sure of it and you have a strong imagination, you're making them a schmuck, it's your fault. So don't do that. That's it for this episode. Go check out Podcasts on MindPod Network. I was on a bunch of podcasts here. Those will be out. Shit is good. Everything's great. California's good. Definitely gonna be back here sooner rather than later. Just ride the wave, relax, dig deep. This is the time for digging deep and facing your fear. So do that. It's not heavy. It can be fun, okay? I've been talking and it's a, we got some energy going on.
All this shit is super fun. It's super duper fucking fun. Do not let it be not fun. You know, don't be delude, don't be crazy. Don't be like a person at a funeral like laughing like a maniac, but just be cool. It's all good. It doesn't have to be heavy. This is really taking us to a pretty special place.
