Imagination Questions & Answers #3
Your imagination questions answered, part 3.
Questions:
1. How do you appropriate states of consciousness? How do I imagine I'm always in a state of creative flow?

5. I've been experiencing an uptick in "negative" experiences after success. WTF!?
6. Does masturbation or abstinence tie into your imagination techniques? What about trippier things like sigil magick and using orgasm to fire intention? Where does discipline and control fit in?
7. Can you share some specific focus techniques?
8. The repellent principle. What is it and please expand?
9. How do I stay focused on my mind and body feeling good when I don't have mental clarity or energy to hold visualizations or imaginal acts? It feels like I'm struggling with consistency for lack of a platform of healthy self as a starting point.

(upbeat music) Ah, welcome to Synchronicity. I hope you had a great weekend. It's Monday, September. Nope, not even close. Not even close. It is Monday, October 7th, totally a month, a whole month off. How you doing? Imagination going well, reality going well, feeling going well, believing going well, assuming going well, appropriating states of consciousness going well. I hope so, but if not, fear not. Well, there's nothing to be afraid of anyway, but let's say you still are dealing with some shit. Let's say Mercury and Scorpio is really fucking your shit up. Let's say you are constantly reliving, rethinking, re-experiencing old trauma, shame, negative experiences, or maybe you are longing for positive experiences or a state of flow that you're not in right now that you wish you could get in.
And how do you get in there? What the fuck? Is that going on? That's okay. It's okay. We're in the void. We're in the middle of two vastly different worlds. And it feels like that sometimes. You're like, what the fuck is going on? There was a blackout here the other night. Oh, I was just talking to an astrologer in China. Brian, he'll be on the show soon. Basically new rule of the podcast. If I'm not doing it live, you have to be in China. If you're on, that's the only way I'm gonna do remote podcasts. But yeah, shit's getting weird. Technology has been weird and Mercury isn't retrograde yet. It's like, what the fuck?
Shit is going on. It's all good in the hood. This episode is the third series of questions and answered. Answered, oh geez. Questions and answers. No, how are you qualified to give answers on anything? Who the fuck are you? How do dare you say you know something about the nature of reality and do presumptuous episodes like reality 101? How dare you? How dare you? I'm sure you're not listening to this show if that's what you think. I dare to dream and know because I directly experienced this shit. And that's why you can't fake this confidence. You can't fake the resonant tone of what I'm saying because they fucking directly experienced it.
It's like if someone was like, hey, what does chocolate taste like? You wouldn't have to like make up a fake story of what chocolate tasted like. You'd be like, yo, chocolate, that shit is really good. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but you gotta fucking try that shit 'cause it's fucking good. And if you don't like chocolate, like what the fuck's the matter with you, you don't get that. You're a vanilla person, that's fine, vanilla is okay. I've warmed up to vanilla in the past year, so you should not like it, but as a base, I think we can do better. Okay, anyway, tangent. Let's get to these questions.
There are 10 of them. I don't know how long this episode is gonna take. I'm sure I will go off. We'll probably smoke a joint at some point in this episode, so get ready for that. I'm getting way more easy breezy with this shit. So yeah. All right, let's get to these questions. And of course, you can always email me at no@sinkpodcast.com. You can hit me up on Twitter @noelampert. You can hit me up on Instagram @noelampert, where else there's the form, the survey. There's so many different ways, the mailing list. There's so many different ways to get in touch with me. There will be a point where I probably can't get back to people as quickly as I have been.
I can feel it, it's imminent. So take advantage of it now, please. It's like the people who come and still hit me up for the free tarot and astrology readings. They're like, am I late? I'm like, yeah, you're deaf of your way late. It's definitely cost money now, so sorry. But not sorry, because it's fucking awesome. Okay, let's get to these questions. Yeah, all right. Number one, not using names. Again, if you want your name to be used, explicitly say, please use my name. Okay, question number one. How do you appropriate states of consciousness/ how do I imagine I'm always in a state of creative flow?
Great question. Okay, so this is dealing with this idea that when we first get into imaginal acts and imagination and all of this stuff, we go for like pretty base level stuff, not being derogatory or pejorative in any way. Base level shit, it's amazing. What I'm talking about is money, relationships, you know, settings, like houses, vacations, you know, potentially other people in our lives having those things as well. But then what we realize very quickly is that these are kind of just like techniques to get us to feel a certain way. And then we go, okay, what would I like to feel? Like what is a feeling I would like to feel?
And then you realize like, oh wait, this is kind of just like a state of consciousness. So you start thinking, you know, let's use hers, which is how do you get in a state of creative flow? How am I always there? Well, here's the question. Have you ever been in a state of creative flow before? If you haven't, then you're gonna have to maybe use someone else as an example or work up to a state where you experience it, but if you have been for a lot of people, they have been. For most people in their life, they've been in a flow state, even albeit just for a little bit. But if you have been in that state, you recall the state and then you embed that in an imaginal scene if you're using one of these techniques and you say, okay, wow, I can't believe I ever, I thought I was not going to be in a state of creative flow.
Like that was so weird that I ever felt like that. So you're doing a few different things here. You're implying in the scene that you felt away and that way you feel is that it's so weird to you that you can't even imagine that you didn't feel like that. Right, and then you can say, well, you're using a negative. Aren't you potentially saying to the deepest part of you that you're gonna deliver to yourself that you don't wanna be in a state of creative flow because you're imagining you couldn't be in one. No, you're not. And again, you're subconscious, the feminine aspects of your mind, your psyche does not distinguish.
It's non-selective, so didn't create a flow, weren't in a creative, it doesn't know how it works. It really pays attention to the feeling first and foremost of this amazing wonder that you had that like, whoa, it's so weird that I thought I couldn't do this all the time. That's what's really being served up. But even just in the syntax, all it here is (mimics) creative flow. So that's how you appropriate any state of consciousness. Now, I will say this. Tapping into inspiration and creative flow at all times really does require you to jump up to the realization that you are everything, that you are God, you are Jesus, you are Krishna, you are Buddha, you are ayahuasca, you are LSD, you're an alien, you're all of these things.
And you have to be able to comfortably go there quickly because that's the state of creative flow. When you're up there in unity consciousness, when you're up there in collaborative kind of recognition of the interconnectedness of everything, not conceptually, but as a felt reality, you'll recognize like how are you not being creative flow all the time? You never run out of inspiration, you never run out of ideas, you never run out of anything that would prevent you from seeing that you have access to everything all of the time. It's just the coolest. So in specific regards to creative flow, the quicker you can recognize that you are the creator and sustainer of this world, for real, not conceptually, not intellectually, felt, known.
You will be fine. And then as a shortcut to all these things, appropriate states of fearlessness, balance, equanimity, love, harmony, compassion, appropriate those states and you're good to go. And that's really what we're all doing here, just to be clear, if you came here for like, I get more money, how do I get the shit? Don't worry, you get all that if you really want it, but it's really just to, really it's just to improve your ability to appropriate states of consciousness. I used to when I was first getting involved with psychedelics, when I was like 15, my first trip, you know, you hear about bad trips.
I read a lot about LSD, a lot, before I did it, 'cause I was freaked out and I was like, you know, I don't wanna do something that I don't know a lot about. So I read a lot about it and you hear about those bad trips. So I'm on, fuck man, must have been like 300 milligrams, my first trip, 18 hour trip, sunshine acid from San Francisco, had a music five week program on 15. And in Boston, by my lonesome with friends, you know, but my family's nowhere to be seen for a long time and I'm in the middle of this thing and it's getting funky. It's getting weird, not a bad trip. But I was like, oh man, like, I don't know if this is what I wanna experience right now.
And I have the epiphany that every, it was a light switch. You just flip it. You just flip that shit from dark to light. That's all you do, or light to dark. And that's what everything is. I thought it was just related to the psychedelic experience. What I had classified as a psychedelic experience, an LSD based experience, when in reality, that's true reality. That's way closer to actual base level reality for real, original reality than anything else. It is that quick. You do flip the light switch and you can flip it on for anything. Fear, fearlessness. Creative flow, non-creative flow. Happiness, upset, crankiness, joyousness.
You can literally do that, okay? It seems foreign. It seems like what the fuck are you talking about? If someone's punching you in the face, how are you gonna be happy? Well, first of all, you would most likely, unless you like that. Good for you, that's cool. But, you know, anything you can really try it, see it. I'd use a good one for me as I used to get, I get antsy. If I'm going somewhere and I'm behind someone slow, I like to go fast, especially up here in the Hudson Valley. Like the speed limit's 55. I like to go healthy, 65, you know? So if someone's going like 45 and a 55, I will get antsy.
So now what I do when I'm getting antsy is, I'll be like, oh, this is just a reminder to slow down. Let me enjoy this. Let me see if I can actually enjoy this. Completely flipping something that would have been based on, oh, I get there on time, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'm always on time for whatever I do. I'm usually early. So I don't, fuck that, I don't have to worry about that. So not gonna be antsy because of something like that. So then I just try to flip it to enjoying it. Thank you for helping me get there at the perfect time. It's weird when it actually works. You're like, yo, what the fuck?
And it's not a passive thing. It's not like you just accept shitty things in your life. If someone's going really way too slow, you are allowed to pass them. I do it. It's fun. So there's not some rigidity to this, or you just accept all these warms because you're doing it to yourself. That's the truth. Anyway, if that's the answer to the first question, and there are nine more to go, buckle up. This is gonna be a long ass episode. I'm gonna have to stretch out this session file. So we get past where I anticipated it going. Bear with me as I do that. I am my engineer, my editor, my filter. It's a one man show over here.
Okay, question number two. Will the scene only occur if I truly believe it? Also, this is easily testable on an individual level. Then why is there no research behind this? Oh man, this is two questions actually. All right, number one, will the scene occur only if I truly believe it? Yes, but let's define belief. It probably feels like in your life that things happen that you didn't think about, or you didn't imagine, or you didn't believe. But that's impossible. You did believe it. You did believe in that happening. Now, it may be at a level underneath your conscious mind, sometimes, but usually in these days it's kind of right there and you're like, oh shit, I did kind of believe that.
So the question is, is how do we test and feel belief? You can't trick yourself into this. You can't say, oh, I'm thinking of something. I'm thinking of this thing. It's not the same as thinking from it. You are always the barometer. So how do you loosen your belief? How do you strengthen your belief muscle and loosen your boundaries in terms of what you allow yourself to believe? How do you do that? I think that's the real question here behind this, because it is true. Yes, simple answer, will the scene only occur if you truly believe it? Yes, facts, always, never not happening. So you loosen your muscles, or you warm up and then strengthen these muscles by slowly empirically proving to yourself if that's what's needed, that this is how everything works.
So pick an innocuous thing, pick like a $5 bill or a certain color car that's rare, or a car that's rare. Like, I do this with Tesla Xs. I'm going to have a Tesla X in this reality at some point 'cause I think it's a cool car. As soon as I opened up to that and accepted it, I started seeing them fucking everywhere. And if you know this is like a rare car that doors open up like a Batmobile, it doesn't fucking make sense. It's fucking crazy, it's weird, but I started seeing them everywhere in them. People, my family started seeing them everywhere. So you can pick things that like show you like, "Oh, maybe there's something to this."
Now, if you're like me, that's like, of course, like, duh. But if you're not used to this, you may be like, "Holy shit, how did I start seeing this really rare thing?" So scale up, empirically prove that as you believe something, it shows up in your version of reality. That's how you slowly prove to yourself. And that gets to the second part of this question. This is easily testable on an individual level than why there's no research behind this. What research would we be looking for? This is why Carl Jung's book, Synchronicity, fucks everyone else up. He was trying to statistically quantify phenomena like this.
And we have people like Dean Raiden who are doing a really good job and showing closer and closer against chance and against odds that this stuff is happening. But like, it's your reality. If you fundamentally are not open to this existing, you will always have proof that it doesn't exist. This is like someone who's a firm atheist who is so sure that God doesn't exist. They don't know their God. They're so sure of it. You will never be able to convince them unless they directly experience it. And luckily many are because they're doing it to themselves. And that's a pretty cool game atheist play with themselves.
But again, atheism is also sometimes just a rejection of a particular conception of God or deities. And they view the and discern and recognize that the concept of God or the divine can be appropriated and used negatively in this world and hurts people. So there's a lot of factors that go into something like atheism. But my main point with proof is it's you. If you believe that there is proof, you will fucking find it everywhere. Also, you won't give a shit about convincing anyone else other than for the reason of showing them that it exists so they can take some control of their lives and feel better.
In case I'm not trying to convince you, I'm not trying to convince anyone because I don't need to. If I created a reality where I had to convince everyone of this shit, that would be so burdensome. It's like if you get it, you get it, great. And once you get it, you fucking see it everywhere. And then what's weird is is more people get it. We see more collective proof of it existing everywhere. And that works as like kind of a beacon and a signal and it folds people in and it's great. But yeah, there is a ton of research behind phenomena like telepathy, remote viewing, to the point where governments, you know, investigated and put significant amounts of money into testing this stuff, it exists.
You know, there will always be the people who are offering million dollars to prove that side doesn't exist. That's their own game. That's their version of reality. That's them pressure testing, something that probably doesn't make sense to them yet. But yeah, there's proof and it's hard to quantify research because it's an individual experience of belief, right? We can fold people in and show people things but it's really just their experience of it. So anyway, there we go. Question number three, how does this, oh, these are really good in order. How, so cool. How does this work for really big things like the lottery?
What if 100 people imagined something for someone? Is it proportional? So these are, again, two questions. So how does this work for big things like the lottery? It works for the lottery. Everyone who wins the lottery imagined that they were gonna win the lottery and they did and they really believed it and they may not have consciously perceived it but somewhere deep down inside of them, that's what they needed. You have multiple different stories of how that ends up for people. Some people are, oh my God, we won the lottery, everything is great, our lives are amazing. Then you see those, like, what was it?
I'm like discovery or something like the horror stories of people who win the lottery and like everyone starts becoming a leech. It just amplifies what was going on in their life and reveals sometimes other dynamics because money is such a powerful force and has been such a powerful force. So the lottery, it works, it works. It is really up to the timeline and version of reality you're willing to accept for yourself. Most people don't want to win the lottery. It's not fulfilling for a lot of people in the same way that crafting art or a living or whatever it is for themselves that fulfills them day after day, you know, forever, money is amazing, it's great.
Who wouldn't want the pressure taken off? That's why so many people are drawn to playing the lottery. It's just such a real and visceral need for so many people but the way you get your money is part of the story you've written for yourself and that may sound inconsiderate or callous like if there's someone poor out there like why wouldn't you just give them the money? Well, if you have the means to do so in an ethical and responsible way that you know it will help the person, please do it. But if you don't, if you haven't stabilized that for yourself, don't even worry about that yet. Don't worry about it, don't worry about it ever but think about it after you have the means.
But anyway, the point is is that most people don't want to win the lottery truly. They want money and that money they usually want not just for money 'cause that's just a concept, it's just an energy, they're doing it to, you know, establish a sense of security or power or stability. So that's what you should go for first and then watch as money starts to pour into your life in a variety of ways as you believe that. So what if 100 people imagine something is it for someone, is it proportional? This is a really great question. So it's like mass consciousness. Yeah, there's a tremendous amount of effect if a lot of people are tuned in and imagining something.
We see this a lot with sporting events or major events that are unfolding in real time which we now can watch in real time. So there is an amplification effect as we co-create and co-imagine this earth is a proof of that, just how we're co-imagining it but it is only proportional to the degree to which someone understands this as an operative mechanism of how reality is created. And what I mean by that is there is someone who really fucking gets this shit. That person could influence potentially millions or billions of people, right? That's pretty nuts. Now listen, let me say this. If someone does really realize this, they're not going to manipulate.
They're not going to pull strings. They're not going to basically get in people's heads and Jedi mind fuck them. Even if it seems like they should be doing that to get things better or like more on an even plank, like just, you know, objectively less suffering. You do it by an example. You do it by living your life. You don't do it by pulling strings as a puppet master. So what I mean is this is that if someone fully gets this, it's not really proportional. They can influence a lot of other people and a lot of circumstances in this world. And in fact, that's what's happening. But the power of everyone waking up to who they really are is very, very incredible.
So if a hundred people at the same level against that person who really got it, those hundred would win, if that makes sense. And again, this is like a dualistic way of talking about something that's non-dual. This earth is dual. The many of the questions we're gonna be dealing with today have to do duality. But if you go up to unity and live from that space, you realize that a lot of these questions are just like, they work because there's kind of laws that govern materiality, but they completely don't work at another level. I know I'm being vague there. I'm also just, I'll drop this. I'm gonna be doing two episodes coming up.
One is about the promise, what Neville Goddard referred to as the promise. And the other is going to be jumping into deity and God energy. And that's a really weird one. And it's gonna be the weirdest one I've done. I'm pretty sure for a lot of people, but it works, I've been doing it, it's fucking crazy and it's awesome and it'll be coming probably sooner than I expected it to. Anyway, so yes, three, the question, big things. Like if you really want something to the degree you believe you can have that. It's not defeat, it's like, yeah, if you wanna win the lottery and that's what you really want.
Like focus on it, see what happens. Start small, start not with me with like mega million, start with scratch offs and shit and see what happens. Okay, number four. When you're imagining getting yourself into a higher frequency, does it feel like you're losing your mind? I get to the point where I feel great, but then immediately don't allow myself to feel like that. What gives, oh yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. The good news is this is that really diminishes and goes away. The best way I could describe it, like kind of experientially is you, again, you're killing, you're releasing, you're freeing yourself of limited versions of who you are.
So what are you doing there? You are quite literally losing your mind. That mind of you that is like, no, this isn't how reality works, this is wrong. That is going bye-bye, you're losing it. Bye-bye, you know where you're placing it, so maybe losing is the best word, but it's dropping off. It is sloughing off you, right? Ugh, it's off of me. It's like, it's gone. So that's why it feels fucking crazy. Imagine dying, psychically, not super comfortable. Here's the real truth, we are dying and being reborn every fucking second of every fucking day. We reconstitute ourselves as the structures of Noah and I and all of this stuff, but it's all good, man.
We can stabilize them too and make them fucking amazing and make us wake up in the lucid dream, but there will be experiences where like, oh my God, my whole conception of reality is just completely shattered, what the fuck. It's cool though, you stabilize that to the degree that you understand it and you also, you get comfortable with that feeling, truthfully. In this dance we do, we're like, you're in the higher frequency and then you're not, like that's just the game. To the extent that you recognize that it's just the game you're playing with yourself, you can let it go. It's like playing like a trouble.
You know, like, or sorry or monopoly. Like, okay, I'm done with this game. I don't wanna play this game anymore where it's just a loop around and I'm collecting go $200 and going to jail sometimes. Like, I wanna play a different game. Maybe I make up the rules to that game and it doesn't involve me falling back into a state where I don't feel like I'm in a higher frequency. So yeah, of course it feels like you're losing your mind but allow that to happen, just let it go. Your mind will fight like a bitch too. They're like the limited, excuse me, aspects of yourself will fight real hard. You are killing them, you are killing them.
Do you know what that feels like? Imagine you in front of you and there's a version of you pleading with you, please don't kill me. Please don't kill me, please. Why would you do this? I'm a person, I am real. I am real, you ever see those black mirrors where like there's the virtual thing? It's like, please, why are you doing this? I have consciousness, please don't fucking kill me. Imagine this in front of you and you're like, nah, I'm sorry, I gotta turn it into Kali right now. My skin's gonna turn blue and I'm gonna take this fucking sharp sight or axe or whatever I have, knife and I'm gonna cut your head off.
I'm sorry and it might be painful. Maybe it won't be if I'm good and have practice with this. It won't be, but this is what's happening. And then you go, no, please, please, please. And you go, fuck, and you fucking do it. And you're like, oh shit, that's all it was. Just the phantom of my imagination wasn't real, great. But until you do that and get comfortable doing that, oh man, I'm gonna fucking fight. They will fight. There'll be so many versions too that come up. The version of you that maybe has like so much money or so much power and you're like, oh man, I gotta get rid of this for a little bit.
All right, cool, no props. Just, you just gotta feel it out, right? So it's a whole fun game. Okay, next question. I've been experiencing an uptick in negative. I put negative in quotes. Experiences after success, what the fuck? I also added the what the fuck. Yeah, so as you up level through levels of consciousness, you cut weights of shame and guilt of doubt and worry and you rise, you start to levitate above your situations and get perspective, but then maybe other things come in and you realize, oh, I didn't like fully cut the cord or maybe there's some new things in this kind of dimension that I didn't think about that they're here or maybe it's like a right back down.
Just in that previous question to these experiences, it's you. There are no negative experiences outside of you. So if it's an external situation, recognize it stemming from an internal state of mind, first and foremost, that's number one. Number two, if you do recognize that, the way you change it is exactly by doing what I started with in this episode, right? Appropriate a state of consciousness where that doesn't happen, clarity, fearlessness, get good at being Kali and destroying the part of you that has or fails to recognize that this is all you and that you can flip it like a light switch.
That shit really works. It's hard because we've oscillated between great and not great and the narrative we hear even from like very accomplished like quote unquote spiritual teachers, they're like, life is hard. You're gonna go through good and bad. It's good. And yeah, you are. There's gonna be challenges and all of that stuff. But if you identify it as like shitty or bad and like how to ride that out, how do I ride it out? That's you're gonna be your experience. If you're like, you know what, no matter what happens, shit is good, you know, live from that state and then see what's going on, right?
To go back to that car analogy, right? Live from the state where even if someone is going slow in front of you or even if they crashed in front of you, like it's all good. It's all good. You're not inconsiderate. You're not uncompassionate. You're just recognizing the perfectness of this creation that we are all creating for ourselves. The law is always in operation, always for every single person. You do not have to feel overly responsible or overly accountable but you should recognize that you are 100% responsible and 100% accountable for your world and everything that you see in it. So if an uptick in negative experience is happening, you're doing it right.
It's coming, your shadow, the parts of yourself that you haven't seen before are coming to the light and they're saying, look at me, look at me, integrate me. Figure out what you're supposed to do with me because this is you, I am you. So please, please look at some situation here. Where are you gonna need this help? And just to be clear, if like you're level, if you're imagining a very big future for yourself, right? You're gonna wanna deal with as much shadow stuff, as much shit that you don't know about yourself before you get to an amplifier state, whether it's money or fame or whatever the fuck it is, deal with that shit first.
Trust me on that one because it will amplify everything. You have more money, more problems. See how many people success fucks with them? You see how many people money fucks with them? You see how many people relationships fuck with them? Deal with that shit. There's no way it has to look, just deal with it, trust me. So negative experience is quote unquote, usually a failure to deal with shadow aspects of yourself. So focus there. This is an interesting question. Does masturbation or abstinence tie into your imagination techniques? What about trippier things like sigil magic and using orgasm to fire intention?
Where does discipline and control fit in? Oh, these are really good questions. And I'll admit to judging this question when it first came in, I was like, why is someone asking me about masturbating? But I get it, such a good question. So here's the thing with masturbation and abstinence. And so sigil magic, I've actually used before with orgasm, both masturbatory and with partner. So that shit works because it's such an intense feeling state that whatever you kind of bind it to in the moment of orgasm really has a powerful effect. But it's to the degree that you understand what you are summoning forth and are letting unfold in this world.
So sometimes you will use that and have no idea what you're doing. Now, in terms of the control and abstinence and discipline, just don't be weird about it. Like I hear a lot of people who have gone through these celibate periods and it's like they're forcing themselves to do it. And it's like, yeah, you can, things can be a little challenging. But if you're forcing yourself to do something, you're probably just pushing something away. It might even be the opposite. Like maybe you're not having sex or maybe you're not masturbating because like you think it's bad and you can't handle it. Well, guess what?
You're strengthening that belief by not doing it. Now I'm saying you should be jacking off like all day, every day. No, but you can if you want to. Control and discipline fit into the degree that you've mastered them and understand those concepts. If you have a negative aversion to the word discipline, then you probably need to have some more discipline and go into it and it might take a little bit or it might take a lot of it. Control is great. Let's just keep it in the realm of six. Six, six, six, six devil in the house. But sex, let's keep it in the realm of sex. Control during sex is very good, okay?
For both partners, not just guys. Control is very good. When you can control yourself, you can do whatever the fuck you want to do. And when you're fucking, that's fucking awesome. You understand what I'm saying? For men and women. If you can control how many orgasms you have, both for men and women, if you can control the frequency and the intensity and the intention behind orgasms, that shit is good. So control is pretty great. I will say that for any aspect of life, control is wonderful. Having a handle on a situation is great. Now, does this mean we can't just let go sometimes and do whatever the fuck we want to do?
Of course, that's chaotic control. Yeah, sure, go for that. Discipline, listen, I don't see any reason. Okay, let me just talk about personally. There's nothing wrong with masturbating, there's nothing wrong with having sex. Don't deny yourself desires because you think it's gonna make you more powerful. That's stupid. That's basically, let me say that. There's some active principle that says that, right? Tantric sex, like you withhold the orgasm during the sexual act to strengthen it and develop intention behind it. And that's cool. That is about the only abstinence I, while you're fucking, if you want to hold off to strengthen, that's cool.
Otherwise, like just like straight up celibacy or not doing it, not for me. So I can say, not for me, can't ever imagine that being a part of my life. But if it feels like that's your path, yes, it's fine, it's valid. I think that's why I initially judged this question is like, I don't know what's right for you related to sex, who you should be having sex with, how often you should be mastery. That's a very personal thing, but don't judge yourself either way. That's the most important thing about that. So I see validity to, you know, holding off and strengthening and also just like do what you want.
Eileen, work towards the do what you want, but do what you want is more fun when you have control and discipline. Makes sense? Some of that for a fucking waffling answer, boom. Number seven, excuse me. Not even smoking yet. Oh, but we're on question number seven. I'm gonna like this up. Here, listen to this ASMR, here we go. I'm gonna get a better mic, so we're gonna get real good at this. I'm gonna do some ASMR stuff. Okay, great. Question number seven. Can you share some specific focus techniques? I'm gonna have to think about this. I didn't read these questions. I wrote them in and didn't think about them.
So specific focus techniques, yeah. I think exercise, physically, your body is very good for focus. I think writing things down is really helpful for focus. I think speaking them aloud is really helpful for focus. I think coming up with affirmations and mantras, like I am fearless, I am clear. Those really help, but you really want my answer? I'm so annoying. Just say, I am appropriating a state of focus. Focus attention, that's it, that's it. Those are the techniques. Everyone wants, listen, I will give out a lot of different things over the years and months and days, and hours and seconds and minutes and everything, of ways to get to this point, but I'm like, in case you haven't noticed, I like the shortcuts, I like the cheat codes.
I like to play the whole game without cheat codes after I know the cheat codes, but I wanna know the cheat codes just in case. And the cheat code for focus techniques is imagine you are in a state of constant focus, went applicable, right? Here's something you wouldn't wanna focus on if you didn't know how to deal with it, pain, right? We got a paper cut, I just couldn't stop focusing on the paper cut, you know, you wanna know how to be relaxed with that attention. So be specific, use intent when you're using focus techniques, but I am focused, you know, I am in a state of focus. I am constantly focused when applicable.
Imagine, you know, a scene in your mind's eye talking to yourself or someone else saying, "Wow, I focus at the best times." Like, "I focus exactly what I need to be." How fucking cool is that? That's the focus technique. I wish there was some like, you know, like, you could do the double Tibetan Buddhist thing, like imagine a petal, and on that petal is the Tibetan A, and there's a red, and there's a white flower below it, and then there's the concert, that shit works too. And that, if you have like a very like, logical, like kind of like masculine selective mind, that's probably gonna work pretty well, but I'm just like, "Yo, can I just imagine that I'm focused "and then I'll be focused, I can?"
Okay, great, that's what I'm gonna do. Okay, number eight, the repellent principle. What is it, and please expand? So this was, I think it came up in the Nick Hinton episode I started with, where I was like, I'm sure you've noticed, or I don't know what episode it was, but someone basically typed out what I said, and I was like, "Oh, I said that interesting." It's basically this idea that as you get close to something, or you're focusing on something, by focusing on it too much, you push it away. So what this is, is our conscious mind interfering with the means. So, again, the process is this, if we want something, or we want the state of consciousness, we live from the end, we imagine the end of it.
We create a scene that implies it has already happened. That's all we're supposed to do, and we are supposed to accept that that is real, and that it has happened all as well. The second we stop accepting that, and don't have faith, which is just loyalty to the unseen world, the thing we've imagined, we start trying to interfere with the means. We start trying to figure out, "Well, how is it gonna happen? "Why is it gonna happen? "Where is it gonna happen? "When is it gonna happen?" And it's like, that shit is totally, don't do that. I spoke about this with Duncan in the episode I did on his podcast, which is like, it doesn't suck the joy out of it, knowing what's gonna happen.
Because you're just imagining this little snapshot, and if you feel amazing in that, it's gonna happen, so that's great. But you don't know how you're getting there, nor would you want to, that would suck balls. We wouldn't incarnate if we wanted to do that. I'm shitting on sucking balls like it's bad. If you like to suck balls, that's fine. That's not a negative thing. But, you know, we don't interfere with the means. We don't interfere with the means, okay? It's like, don't worry about that. But when we do, when we say, "Well, I know this is gonna happen, "but maybe I need to do this, or is it gonna happen, "or do I need to do this to make it happen?"
Or like, "Huh," and you start involving yourself and your consciousness in the process, it repels it. And it doesn't mean that it makes it go away. It just pushes it farther away in terms of linear time, in terms of expressing itself, because you don't really believe it yet. You don't trust it. And this goes back to the earlier question of like, does something happen? When you believe it, yes, that's the only time it happens. But if you're doubting it, if you're going back and forth, if you're not sure, it delays it. So, just be aware of that. You don't also don't get freaked out. If you notice you're doing that, it's all good.
You're getting freaked out and noticing it so you can teach yourself the lesson that it's not a big deal. It's just how it works. It's all good, it's not good or bad, right? It's not, it's like, you have to freak out and judge it. Oh, I'm repelling it, fuck. It's gonna take so much longer, ugh, ugh, ugh. Ugh, my grug, ugh, ugh, ugh. Don't do that. Just be like, oh, I'm doing that. Okay, I'm gonna not do that, 'cause I think I want this thing faster, I do, okay? So that's it. That's the repellent principle. That's when people notice and like, you know where this is really apparent? I'll tell ya, in my life when this was most apparent, if you like someone, not even necessarily romantically or intimately and you wanna have sex with them or you wanna get to know them really well, it's just like sometimes like you meet someone and you're like, whoa, that person's so cool.
Holy shit, they're cool. I, I wanna be friends with them. Like that's fucking cool. And like maybe it starts off as this natural, like, yeah, that, you know, yeah, we're gonna be friends. That's cool, but then, as you like learn more about them, you find how amazing they are and like how related you are and how many things you like, you can get weird about it. You can be like, oh, like I am. I hope this person likes me, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then they start to pick up on that. Like that happens to everyone. But like that's all, that's just like a very present thing that we've all experienced.
That is the repellent principle in action. No one, you know, nice people recognize that's going on. And they're like, it's okay, I'm a human being. Shit is okay. And really that's what most people feel like. Now some people are dicks and they're like, you know, I'm important, like you should feel like that. I'm so fucking important, like, well, maybe don't, maybe don't put that on those people. And just the way to kind of dispel all of this repellent stuff is it's all you. You don't need anyone else to validate you. You validate yourself. You do this yourself. You feel it, you live from that place and then watch what happens. You're a fucking magnet.
You're a fucking magnet. So that's the repellent principle. That's, you know, people being also that can show up as indecisiveness, you know, to use an allegory of the timelines, you know, jumping onto the timeline and staying there is the same thing. Like do that if you want. If you feel like you're getting kicked off it, you're doing that to yourself. Figure out the reason you're doing it and then decide if you want to keep doing it. You does not have to be this infinite loop of, should I do this? Should I not do this? I don't know, but it doesn't have to be that. Okay, number nine, question number nine.
How do I stay focused on my mind and body feeling good when I don't have mental clarity or energy to hold visualizations or imaginal acts? It feels like I'm struggling with consistency for lack of a platform of healthy self as a starting point. Okay, this is a really great question. And one that I don't deal with a ton, but it does. So I do get flashes of it where it's like, you know, when I had a cold, it's a little bit harder to do this. Is it though? So when you don't feel great or you don't feel clear, the first thing you should visualize before anything else or imagine or feel or believe or assume is a state of health and clarity.
Just start there, don't worry. But don't focus on anything else. Don't imagine, don't anything else. Except health and clarity. Because that's the base level starting point that you need to really be able to integrate this stuff. So if you are not there, that is your step one. Clarity and energy and health. Those are, you need that as a platform to work from, you know, if you're too keyed low into depression or you're too keyed up and anxiety, you need to get balance is another word I'll use there. So, right, clarity, health, balance, energy are your four foundational starting points. That's what you focus on.
Don't worry about anything else. You may think it's money. You may think it's something else. You may think, just focus on those. It'll all work out, trust me. No matter what, it's gonna work out. That's the truth, right. Let's just go quickly into what death is, physical dying. If you don't realize that you're God, if you're everything and you wake up to this consciousness being the only real reality, the only God what is written about and spoken about, you will keep coming back into this life, right. We get it into this life, this world. And it will be slightly different and it'll be a shade off and you'll be a younger version of you and you'll play it out all over again.
And that's what's going on. So, that's the worst case scenario and it's not so bad. Like, it's like, if your life is really shitty, it doesn't sound great, but you can change that right now. And then you'll just come back here until you get it, and you scale up, you scale up, you scale up, you scale up, and the conditions then become auspicious for you to realize this and it becomes effortless. So, the way you get there right now in this life, no more unless that's what you want to do, right. Clarity, health, energy. What was the last one I said? Balance, so very important balance. You won't trust yourself fully unless you're balanced.
You'll have doubts pop up if you're not balanced because it'll feel unstable and things that feel unstable. What unstable things don't last, right. They're not, they don't last forever. And yes, impermanence is real. And you can say, oh well, everything's impermanent. You know what's impermanent? Everything. You know what's not impermanent? Consciousness. That's the only permanent fix thing that we actually know doesn't really change. But it changes in the sense that we carve off, we peel off layers of what doesn't actually exist until we get to the real golden holy grail philosophers stone, which is us, which is the true version of us.
And as we do that in case you're worried, you don't like dematerialize into nothing and die. That doesn't happen, luckily. I definitely used to think that that was like the end goal. Like, oh my God, I get to this point and then everything ends. Nope, it's not what happens. So yeah, just if you're not feeling good and you're dwelling on that, start imagining where you don't dwell on that and imagine a state where you can do little tricks too. Like every time I feel pain or discomfort in this part of my body, I'm gonna experience joy. Right, what? Doesn't make sense. What is not gonna happen is you're not gonna just feel pain to feel joy, it's just gonna replace itself.
That's what happens, try it out, give it a shot. Okay, number 10, last question. How do we hold the state without getting frustrated or impatient? Oh, oh, well, it depends on the state of consciousness. Doesn't it, no, it doesn't, frustration and patience are just symptoms of interfering with the means of how something is going to unfold. That's all it is. You say it needs to be, he'd look like this, it has to be like this, has to be then, has to be here. Oh, I declare it should be here. Now, here's the cool thing. When you really get this, you can actually do that shit. You can be like, you know what, Wednesday?
This is gonna happen, I'm sure of it. And we do this stuff all the time. It's just we do it physically. So we're like, okay, this package comes with this thing I want on Wednesday. I know what's gonna happen low and behold, it comes because Amazon told you it was gonna come. Therefore, you knew it was gonna come, right? You don't need Amazon to believe something is gonna come for you. You don't need a physical package to have something delivered to you. You place your internal Amazon order. You say, let me go to I amazon and I want to order, I just came up with that, that's good. Let's steal that anyone, I amazon.
Oh my God, amazing. So I'm ordering on I amazon. I would like one state of fearlessness, one state of clarity, one state of attractiveness, one state of lucidity and one state of equanimity. And I would like those delivered tomorrow. I'm a prime subscriber, right? I subscribe to the prime number seven. So can you please deliver those to me tomorrow, I amazon? Yeah, okay, no problem. Do you believe that, do you believe in I amazon.com? Okay, I do you? Okay, 'cause if you do, it's there. Go log on in your imagination. I just created it, it's fucking thriving. Oh my God, it's a trillion dollar company.
I fucking beat Jeff Bezos. Suck on that, Jeff Bezos, I amazon.com. Ooh, just created it. Oh my God, he's tight, he's tight. Oh, he's upset in this reality. Oh, in this imaginal world, he's not happy that someone created something where they have more power and money than him. Fuck, okay, well, it's okay, Jeff, it's gonna be fine. But here's what I'm really saying here, guys. Got a little carried away with I amazon. It's the same thing. It's the same thing. Don't get impatient, don't get frustrated. There's no point to it in less those states of frustration and impatience are there to show you that there's no reason to be impatient and frustrated.
When you learn that through the states, you think the states as they come up. You think the states of anger, frustration, personal conflict, all of these things. You go, thank you, thank you so much for doing this. That's great. Thank you to my dog who's barking for no reason. But that's what you do when you're getting there. I amazon.com. Can I, hey, can I order my dog not barking on I amazon.com? I would like that within the next minute. Okay, I just went in there and made it be quiet. So thank you for listening to this episode. I will take that as a sign that we are done also that there are no more questions that I have to answer.
If you enjoyed this, please rate and review synchronicity on Apple podcasts, wherever. Share it with a friend, readings are open. If you're into that, I have adjusted the prices and times for the readings most likely for the final time for some time. I honed in on what I really want to be doing with these readings and that is getting together with people one to one. I was doing some remote stuff. I still offer that a little bit kind of like these Oracle readings where you just sign up and I'll audio deliver something to you. But I had some readings last week where there were like 75 minute readings, hour long readings and holy shit, they were fucking awesome.
It was great. So if that's something you're interested in, find it on syncpodcast.com/readings. I'll be there, I love doing it. And I'm really incorporating tarot and astrology into everything I'm doing now. So they're not really that separate. We can focus on one more than the other, but it's all one thing, right? What we're doing here just to be clear with these readings is you're talking to yourself through me. I just get the fuck out of the way, interpret things as best as I can. And we try to get you feeling fucking good and stay feeling good and that seems to be what's going on and it's fucking amazing.
So that's it. That's it. I will see you with a guest later this week and probably some other episodes. Just have a hunch. All right, bye-bye, happy imagining.
