Imagination Q&A #4

0:00 / —:—

Your imagination questions answered, part four.

1. Should I go over the scene more than once each time? Or any others I should be trying as well?

2. Can you discuss the relationship between Imagining what you want and the Buddhist belief of not desiring anything?

3. I can't figure out how to change my beliefs. Mine are all wrong and manifesting a lifetime of suffering and I don't know how to completely change my beliefs. Help!

4. Is it wrong to use imaginal techniques to envision someone forgiving you? and maybe loving you? Its hard for me to get past that feeling immoral. Like i'm casting a spell or something.

5. What about revision techniques?

I have been trying to use them to imagine a situation where I can forgive myself. Which is really hard to do without it feeling immoral when i've done something thats hurt someone. Especially something so horrible. It feels like alarm bells go of telling me how shitty I am when I try. I feel like i've accomplished the feeling from revising the situation but then when i'm feeling truly down the alarm bells just come right back.

6. In one episode you mention how once you've planted the seed of the idea you carry it with you like a fragrance. And not a stinky fish thats slapping you in the face with its smell.

How can I do that when it feels like my mind is always bringing me back to it?

7. What happens if the seed I planted with my imaginal technique never comes true? Is that my fault? Am i being deluded and trying to control someone else's actions? Does it mean I didn't truly believe hard enough?

8. when imagining something specific I want to show up in my life, do I imagine/feel already having this event occur just one night when falling asleep, or can I imagine/feel already having this event occur every night when falling asleep? I'm thinking that doing it many times might be overkill and repel it from showing up.

9. Got the thing I want (a job) but it's only clocking in at 55% accuracy. Do I apply for other jobs or will that push it away?

10. do you think that there is something encoded in specific desires that is important for some kind of expression of the deeper self (or watcher? rider? ultimate self? what ever the self-entity that experiences consciousness is called)?

11. Why do monotheistic religions, like Christianity, characterize the idea of praying to or worshiping multiple Gods as such a bad thing? By "jumping into" other God's are we even praying to or worshipping them? What's your opinion on all of this?

12. What's your perception of transurfing? In your mental conception, is the imaginal acts similar to transurfing?

13. How do you think business, entrepreneurship and capitalism will evolve alongside the higher levels of consciousness?

14. Should I be thinking of the same "goal" for each of these exercises until it's realized, or is one time for any subject best?

15. I went back and listened to your 3 "intro" Imaginal podcasts and you mentioned that you'd be willing to send out some positive thoughts/imaginations. My focus is "deeply reconnecting with the loved ones from my youth". Would you be able to focus on that along with my own techniques?

(upbeat music) Welcome to Synchronicity, I'm back already. It was fast. DMT is telling me to do stuff. That's not true, if anything. Speaking about the DMT. It just confirmed. Everything I already knew, it was just in perfect harmony, so. That's cool. Also, I got water, but I realized I got it in this water bottle, and this mic is so good that when I drink it, it kind of sounds gross. It kind of sounds gross, so. If that's happening, sorry. But I'm probably going to get thirsty. This is weird. It's pretty good. All right, so we got questions. Let me get to them. Let me get to them. This is the Q&A episode.

If that wasn't queer by the title. Yep, look, I'm already going to drink this water. I got cotton mouth. It happens. I got this wrapper weed. Wrapper weed's good. Yep, definitely sounds gross. So I'll get used to that on this episode, because there's a fuckload of questions. There's way more than I thought. I think I said 11 last time. Nope, way more. Oh my coffin shit. It's going to be all over the place. But I just got to get this done because I promised I was going to do it. No, that's not why, because it's fun. Let's be honest. That's what Eli, a three and a half year old, says. That was like the first reason why you asked why he didn't anything, because it's fun.

That's a great answer. I mean, when you do stuff that's not great, someone says it's like, hey, it might be fun. We can't do it. But generally, an amazing answer. Here comes more water. Oh, yeah. This episode is going to be weird. Okay. Imagination questions. You wrote in a lot of them. I'm going to answer them. The links in this thing say everything you need to do. There's so many I forgot about it, live events are going on. So if you're interested in that, fill out that form. It's easy. If you want to be on a episode of synchronicity and get your reading for free, then do that. There's a form for that.

It just sits all there. I did it this morning. It's all there. I know it's all there. Find it. Do it. Love it. Be it. All right. Question number one. No names again. If you wanted your name, you didn't explicitly say it, so I assume you don't, which is understandable on some of these questions. It's kidding. They're all great. Number one. Question number one. Should I go over the scene more than once each time or any others I should be trying as well? Right. We've covered this a little bit and it's -- I'm going -- I listen. I got to write back and say listen to this other episode. But I put it on here because I recognize it is important.

Although this is what, should I go over the scene more than once each time or any others? No. Yeah. No, keep that scene. Keep that scene. Now, you may move on to state some consciousness, but keep the scene that implies the state of consciousness. Replay it. Replay it. Replay it. You've got to constantly be replaying it because that is the thing that eventually shifts it. It can be very quickly into your subconscious, unconscious, feminine, receptive mind, which also burths it out into the world of the senses. Yeah. Now, this is -- as we move along here, we realize that these techniques are kind of like tricks.

They're magic tricks. They work. They're effective. That's why we love them. But they are just trying to show us an operative mechanism of how this reality works, which is us. So we believe and feel things and that's why they happen. But these techniques have a tent -- they cross that bridge. It's because it's the bridge between the conscious and unconscious. There's that state in between when we're going to sleep. But we does the same thing, psychedelics, anything, really. Just like a mindset change, we'll do the same thing. So just keep it to that compact scene if you're getting started. Question number two.

Can you discuss the relationships between imagining what you want and the Buddhist belief of not desiring anything? Oh, man, good question. So I'm going to take a beat on this one. So I think the translations for a lot of the Buddhist idea of non, not desiring anything is a little off. And I think because there's a way to have things and appreciate things. The word desire is just the issue there, right? Desire the way I use it. That's the only thing I've found that has been the springboard that has propelled me to the life that I wanted to live. Period. Even if it seems uncomfortable and weird at times, that's the only thing for me that has worked.

I don't know the original word of where desire came from in the polycanum or any of these other translations. My hunch is it doesn't mean what we think it means when we hear desire. I think it can have this if it has a negative connotation to you, then you're off the mark. That's not Buddhist at all. That's definitely identifying with something. So again, I think Buddha's you. Everyone's the Buddha. And that's what he was saying when he says, "I'm not a God. I'm awake." You know, everyone's a God, I think. So it's the same thing. But still, what he was implying is, is he wasn't doing anything special.

There wasn't like some amazing power that he had that no one else had and could do this special thing. So when we keep that in mind with desire, it's not that we don't, the desires are there. You can't stop them. Do you know what I mean? Like trying to stop them is like trying to put your finger in a dam. You will fight against that until you realize you cannot. It doesn't mean you won't, like if you don't want to be smoking cigarettes and you know that, but you're still smoking, if you fight it, you'll still smoke. If you just give in and let it happen and then decide that you don't want to, it'll be really easy to quit.

That's been my direct experience and I know people say, "Well, it's a physical addiction. It's not that easy. You gotta get it." Well, okay, whatever. Every cigarette's every day, like over half a pack a day and it's not insane if you're a heavy smoker, but like I stopped no problem. Dropped with the hat. Got sick. It was like, "I hate this shit. I don't want to do anymore. I stopped doing it." I might even hate it, just like I didn't need it anymore. Same reason I continued to smoke cannabis. I love it. I love it. Like it's not a weird love. It's not like a possessive like, "I love it." No, I love it.

I love it. It's amazing. That's why I smoke it. That's why I enjoy it. So approach that, that type of desire is healthy. If it's a dependent desire, if it's grasping or a version, that's what the Buddhists are saying. Don't do that because then it's like this cyclical Chinese finger trap you create. You don't want that. But desire is good. Desire is good. Mark it down. Everywhere you read it. I love desire. I love it. It's good. It's the springboard that will propel you towards your fulfilled state of being when you realize who you really are. I cannot, I'm not speculating. Okay. Question number three.

Should I take some water? Should it be gross? No. I'll hold you off, but I'm going to cough. I'm learning not to cough directly in the mic. It's good mic. Question number three. I can't figure out how to change my beliefs. Mine are all wrong and manifesting a lifetime of suffering and I don't know how to completely change my beliefs. Help. I think I'm paraphrasing here and I think this one was a lot longer and there's another one. So I get these a fair amount and I will read the question again and see if you can find listener where this person could improve their mental diet. I can't figure out how to change my beliefs.

Mine are all wrong and manifesting a lifetime of suffering and I don't know how to completely change my beliefs. Help. There you go. Right. Listen, listen to what you're saying out loud. You're saying starting with I cannot. It doesn't matter what comes after there unless it's like I cannot be upset. That's a good one, but I cannot figure out how to change my beliefs. You have a rigid mind right there. Boom. You're trapping yourself in a box. Second part. Mine are all wrong and manifesting a lifetime of suffering and I don't know how to completely change my beliefs. Boom. You're saying everything you believe is wrong, which is actually accurate when you say you don't know how to change your beliefs because you do.

Now I'll justify that and not just be a dick by saying it in a second. You're also saying that you're manifesting a lifetime of suffering and you don't know how to change your beliefs. You've just answered your own question. It seems wrong. It seems like it shouldn't be the case, but you have all of the answers. You can change your beliefs quite easily. Use one of these techniques. Have you ever been right about anything? Have you ever believed anything? Even if it's the opposite of what you want. Have you believed it? So you know what the feeling of belief is like now up even if it feels wrong.

Just apply it to the thing of the wish fulfilled. That belief. That's it. Stop saying you can't figure it out. Don't do that. It's not productive. I mean you can do it. I'm not saying you're not allowed to. Just like why would you do that? And then definitely watch your mental diet. You're saying you're manifesting a lifetime. Are you paying attention to the world outside of you? That might be your problem. You're giving credence to the five senses. Don't do that shit. Stupid. Sometimes you know masculine energy comes out a little strong there. But don't do it. It's not wise. It's not good to use your senses as everything is it's an after effect.

Or you're looking at the you're looking at the after effect and trying to gain insight from that change up here first. If you notice yourself saying I can't figure out how to change my beliefs and say no, no, no, no, no, that's just a belief. I can change my beliefs and actually it's pretty easy to the degree you believe that it will be true. Boom. Nice little trick. You're honing in on a real alchemical trick by asking this question because that's like asking the genie for you know the first you have three wishes and the first one you go like infinite wishes. That's what this is. It's infinite wishes.

Infinite wishes. Just learn how to get the right west wishes. It's not hard. We'll go through this. There's more. That's how you change your beliefs. You can also use revision where you go back and find a traumatic thing that might be blocking or holding you back. Change it in your imagination. If that's too hard, then do it for the future. Find the state where you know you'll have conviction and clarity and the ability to do that. That's good. Lots of stuff. Just believe in yourself and your ability to be whatever you want and assume that you can. Sounds stupid sometimes, but it's true. And number four, now I'm going to take that water.

Here we go. ASMR. No drinking water. If anyone wants to know because they're weird and have this like a water bottle finish, it's Contigo. My friend Zeb told me about it. 24 ounces. There's probably about 19 to go. That's the grossest thing I've ever heard in my life. I don't know. Like people could do fully stuff with that. You know what fully is? I learned about it in school. Like it's like all those sounds you hear of like horses, like in movies. They're like coconuts and shit. All different sounds make these things. So anyway, here's a real sound. Me coffin because I was on the exercise bike.

You know, yeah, you get stuff up. Okay. Uh, question number four. Is it wrong to use imaginal techniques to envision someone forgiving you and maybe loving you? It's hard for me to get past the feeling of moral like I'm casting a spell or something. Oh. This is probably my favorite question so far. This is what I would call no, don't tell me that's not the fan. Tell me that's not the fan coming on. If the fan comes on, I got to stop and report the rest of these later. Hold on. I think I can stop it. One second. Okay. There's a there's a heat fan in this garage. I don't know when we bought it. That's what's in here.

And I use it. It's a horrible idea because it's not insulated, but I do it and I forgot to turn it off. So I heard it dripping like the stuff and if it turns on, then I'll have to rerecord this. Okay. But back to question number four. Is it wrong to use imaginal techniques to envision someone forgiving you and maybe loving you? It's hard for me to get past that feeling of moral like I'm casting a spell or something. Yes. This is an advanced question. You are casting a spell morality morality morality. Do you know why you're doing it? And does it follow the golden rule? If it, if the answer to those is yes, then it's okay.

If it's no to the golden rule and you wouldn't want it done to you, I recommend not doing it. Forgiveness, forgive yourself and other people first. You shouldn't seek others forgiveness because that means you're projecting your worth onto someone else and you don't want to do that. That's dependency. It's codependency. So don't worry about anyone forgiving you. They will. And then that's immediately when they forgive you. That's what's so cool about it. But yeah, I get it. It's like a morality thing and in duality, there's morality, there's good in their bet, there's bad. So if you're asking that question, though, usually let your sense of knowingness and stability and equanimity be the guiding force.

You can get, you know, this is where I'll say like you can get readings from people. It doesn't have to be me for insight. The unconscious, the deepest part of ourselves, self is it's always trying to communicate with us. So you can use divinatory and Oracle like things to get some insight there. But you, if you're asking this question, you're, you probably know what's wrong and what's right for you right now. But if it feels really wrong and you're just like, what the fuck? You have to use your internal sense. You have to use your internal sense of what's right and wrong for you. Use the golden rule.

Would you want it to be done to you? If you didn't really forgive someone, you know, and you weren't there yet, would you want someone to wish it for you? I don't know. Maybe you would. I'm not saying there's a right or wrong. That's the whole thing. And what I'm saying is is you have to use yourself as the beacon of what's right and wrong. And it can be difficult. So I'm sorry. That's an, probably an unsatisfactory answer, but morality is a tough one. I don't, I can't, I can't give firm answers on that because every situation is unique, but you are the common denominator in your reality. And you know what's right and wrong.

You definitely do. And what I mean by that is not that you conform to other sense of like social structure code or actual laws, I'm not inviting people to break laws, but like you got fan out laws sometimes and you have to recognize what your truth really is. And if it's used lovingly, that's the other beacon here, then you're good to go. I mean, that's the truth. I said, I think in the second episode, and that man, when I started doing these after imaginal techniques, number one, I don't care how egotistical this sounds, I go back and listen to those sometimes because that shit was, I was like in the fucking initial pipeline of shit that I was understanding.

And you have a pursuit of love, if you understand what real love is, what Jess, I just had a reading with Jessa. It was great. If you understand what like the real meaning of open handed unconditional love is, then this question gets a little easier for you, then the morality thing gets a little bit easier. So yeah, how's that for an answer? Here's a preamble. I've been trying to use them. Sorry, I keep coughing. Something stuck in my throat. There's something wrong with me. It's just like something there. Should I try to get it out now? Will you guys listen? Okay. This is what happens when you work out.

I'll tell you this shit, you start hacking up the stuff. You know, it's like a slow purge, like an ayahuasca purge, just over like weeks and months. Okay. Number five, what about revision techniques? I've been trying to use them to imagine a situation where I can forgive myself, forgiveness coming up big time, guys, huh? Which is really hard to do without it feeling immoral when I've done something that's hurt someone. Morality and forgiveness again, especially something so horrible. It feels like alarm bells go off telling me how shitty I am when I try. I feel like I've accomplished the feeling from revising the situation, but then when I'm feeling truly down, the alarm bells just come right back.

So what about revision techniques? Okay, I got this. I don't have a huge problem with this, but I do understand and I have experienced it. Maybe again, and forgiveness, judgment is coming into play here, but you've probably gotten to the point where maybe you can transcend judgment for another, but what you might be having difficulty is just transcending judgment for yourself. And that's when we really just hold ourselves to standards that don't fit the way we actually feel. And again, if this is used lovingly, even if it feels morally wrong, isn't this weird? If it's really done lovingly and it passes the golden rule, it's valid.

It's basically the same question as before, it's just two people and I didn't even notice they came in in order. And that's really interesting. I get this question so much. I mean, like when I say I get, I understand it. You can use revision though. What I recommend using revision for is for yourself and finding the instances of trauma, finding the instances of shame. I think I send this fan off, fuck it. Find the instances of what may be leading you to question your own morality or what's right and wrong. Use the revision for that. Go back to yourself. Find a period. It doesn't even have to be a crystal clear memory.

It just has to be you feeling a certain way when you're very young, do that. That should help a lot because then clarity starts to come in, you stop judging yourself, which is a big, baddie boss boss and it's a lot more fun because then it, I mean, maybe fun isn't the right word. It's more playful and that can be unsettling at times for people, but as long as you're handling your shit and being a responsible human being for what you feel you need to be responsible for, you know, be responsible. That's the responsibility is embedded here. It's not morality. It's not something that should weigh you down.

It's a nice thing, but don't judge yourself and, you know, this person was saying where I use them, imagine where I can forgive myself, but it's hard because they're feeling bad about something, the things they did, but you know what? You got to forgive yourself. The other person will eventually forgive you too and even if they don't, it doesn't matter. Just you have to. This isn't a justification for being a shit person just to be clear. You don't forgive yourself just to go into like another pattern that's just like needlessly hurtful. If there's a function behind your pattern, try to discover what it is because then you can break the karmic chain even if the pattern comes up again, you'll know what it is and you'll know the right course of action.

That's all I can say. That will undo this binding feeling of morality and morality is like it doesn't, it's not like fucking calligula on one side and mother Teresa on the other. That's how we think of this shit sometimes. It's like morality. It's like the spectrum. Yeah, you know what, like some of your favorite people in your life have probably done things that if you saw what they did and other people, they would be like, oh, that's not something you should do, but they wouldn't condemn them. So don't condemn yourself. It's really important. Yeah, just don't don't the alarm bells coming back.

It's you not letting go. It's not true forgiveness. You have to really forget. You'll know it. You'll, you'll know when you forgive yourself. It's a very clear feeling. All right, question number six, we're not even halfway through, just to be clear. In one episode, you mentioned how once you planted the seed of the idea, you carry it with you like a fragrance and not a stinky fish that's slapping you in the face with its smell. How can I do that when it feels like my mind is always bringing me back to it? All right. Listen, we got Scorpio and Metrocray. Oh, man, we got Scorpio. It's not, the retrograde isn't even what I want to say, it doesn't even make sense.

Mercury is in Scorpio right now. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto, who is the reviewer, the constant cycler of, it's kind of like in its best form, like going through things and picking out what's good, like the sorter. And in its bad way, it's like rumination and like dwelling on things. So a lot of people are in this energy right now. It's a collective thing, but we feel like it's individual for us. So what we do is we, the way you like carry it lightly is you find the feeling of it truly, wait, I just lost the question here, sorry, you find a feeling, bringing it back to it. You find the feeling of stability, you find the feeling of how, what, what is the ultimate clarity that I need to transcend this issue?

I feel like you keep coming back to it, it's just trying to tell you something. So just as soon as you figure it out, this may involve using your intuition, finding something, you know, on the internet or a song, I hear it, you want to, I need to, here's a practical tip. Fuck this shit. Let's fucking do all these things. Here's what you do. Use music. All right. Use your shuffle on Spotify or Apple Play. That's your unconscious. Have at least 300 songs. If you don't have this, I mean, find, do start building it up now. This is a quick shortcut, 200 songs is fine, but 300 plus songs is what I recommend and listen to what it's telling you.

And every time you come back and you're ruminating on the thing and you're a stinky fish and you keep thinking about it and dwelling on it, don't pay it any mind. Just be empty. Just let it go. Just let it go as it would any other thought and it's not like you have to be a weird meditative about it, but like, let's say you're worrying about money and then the money thought pops back in your head and you're like, oh, no, it's a stinky fish again. Just be like, no, so we do. It's all good. I got all the money. That's the truth. Whatever you want. You have. You just have to believe it and then you feel it.

But don't give it any more attention than any other thought that you know can either be true or not true. So during your drive in the ship is what I'm saying. You control what unfolds into your life. It's all going to unfold the way you want it to. It's just whether you delay it or not. Now you can actively end something you imagined. That's easy to do. But that's a different thing. You would have to consciously like do it and feel it. You know, like destroy an imaginal scene because it no longer serves you. You can do that too. We have all the power to do either of those things. But this thing, fish thing just has for clarity, fearlessness and whatever state of consciousness you're looking for.

It goes away on its own. That's all I can say about that. Don't. And like I said, like you're in kind of this energetic pattern right now reviewing karma as we destroy it. So just let it show you what you need to show you and don't think you fish days are done. What happens if the seed I planted with my imaginal technique is question number seven. What happens at the scene? I'm doing a cough every fucking time in between. I don't know. What happens if the seed I planted with my imaginal technique never comes true? Is that my fault, am I being deluded and trying to control someone else's actions?

Does it mean I didn't really believe hard enough? Okay. Is this a Virgo moon, whoever asked this question, is this what's going on here? Um, yeah, I mean, what happens if the seed I planted with my imaginal, it never comes true. How do you fucking went to the end of time and infinite time and space and it never came true? Then you know something I don't know, truthfully, you understand something about the way everything is working and I have an experience and I would like to know never comes true. What the fuck? Holy shit. If you die, here's where we are right now. If you die in the past and another timeline, you may be come back and jump into another body and do this whole fucking dance where we are now.

If you die, you come back, you're a younger version of you and you don't even know what happened. That means there's infinite dimensions, there's infinite little shades of the same thing for us to wake up. So this is like the final destination. This is the holding ground. So it definitely happens here. When it happens, it's completely up to you. It's not your fault. No, it's not your fault. Oh, you see, I'm just like losing patience. I'm sorry if I sound irritated. It's not irritation at all. It's just like, no, of course it's not your fault. You're great. You're fucking perfect. Don't worry about that.

Are you being deluded and trying to control someone else's actions? Who's actions? The actions of someone you love and care about, are you sure that you love and care about them to the degree that you do? I mean, figure out what decisions. What are you trying to get them to do? I don't try to get anyone to do anything. It's not smart in my book. I let people be. I see a lot of stuff in the Neville Goddard thread and subreddit. I don't read a lot of them these days, but I do see a lot of people trying to get like significant partners in and out of their in their lives. And it's like, man, I get the loneliness, but when you truly understand solitude, you will find whatever you want to find in this life.

And if you're trying to puppet string people, just like make sure you wouldn't want it done to you. So anyway, no, you're not being deluded unless you are trying to puppet string people's lives. And then you'll learn the lesson you need to learn from that of why you wouldn't want to do that doesn't mean you truly didn't believe hard enough. I guess what you're asking in the beginning here is what happens if the seed I planted with my imagination technique never like doesn't come true. And some people will set dates and time frames and then like obsess about the date and the time frame and then it doesn't happen and they're like, Oh, shit, I knew it or no.

Don't worry about it. Number one, the time frame is totally irrelevant for you being fulfilled. You don't know that every failure, every perceived missing of the boat is a blessing in disguise. Truthfully, you can catch the boat. You heard my story in the last episode, the train hitchhiked and fucking jogged and fucking full nighttime attire nighttime attire. No dinner attire. I don't know. Sorry, I say it. I fucking call it the train. But you know what? You missed the train. It's all good too. It's all good. That timeline I learned exactly I'm here on another podcast and another dimension talking about how I learned the lesson of failure and it was great and blah, blah, blah, but that's not the timeline.

I fought like a motherfucker to catch that train and I did. So you can do that too. It's totally up to you. Yeah, you didn't believe hard enough. I mean, hard enough. No, you just didn't feel it and believe it. That's all. Don't try so hard. Don't push it away by trying so hard. Don't never say never, right? It sounds so stupid, but it's so smart. Okay. Number eight, when imagining something specific, I want to show up in my life. Do I imagine feel already having this event occur just one night falling asleep or can I imagine feel already having this event occur every night when I'm falling asleep thinking that doing it many times might be overkill and repellent from showing up.

Yeah, certainly can be when you really get this, it's almost instant and you don't even have to do it at night. You're just like, Oh, that would be amazing. And then you let it happen. And just remember, like we've been doing this our whole lives and when we're kids, we're not constricted by like boundaries and shit. So what you imagine back then is very powerful. So if something is not congruent with what you want now and what you imagined when you were younger, go back and fix that. It's probably a wise thing to do. But yeah, the one night, I mean, do it to the degree of where the desire doesn't pop up anymore.

That's what I'd say. When you wake up that day and you're like, Whoa, I feel different about this or something. Just like, I don't know, let in a different direction. Just accept it and move on that if it takes 20 nights, if it takes 30 nights, that's fine. That's discipline. It's all valid is what I'm saying. You're trying to teach yourself something. You have to drop into your intuitive mind and know when that point is otherwise you just go back and forth and circle and back, back, back, back, back, back, it's no fun. Question number nine and just on question number eight yet, that is probably overkill.

If you think if I'm thinking, here's the question, here's what the person wrote. I am thinking that doing it many times might be overkill and repelled from showing up. I am thinking. Well, there you go. That's what's going on. Number nine, got the thing I want, which was a job, but it's only clocking in that 55% accuracy. I believe that was really related to pay paraphrasing here. Do I apply for the other jobs or will that push it away? What do you really want? Is it the job specifically? Is it the freedom that the money would get you? Is it the satisfaction of having that particular job and working in a field you want?

Focus on the end. Think broader is what I would say. Nothing you do will push your true fulfillment and desire away. You can't really. It's just like, imagine pushing a swing. You push it away and there's like a kid in it. You push it away. Put it back. Oh, pendulums. We're almost there too. Oh, God. It's coming. The Transurfing question. I can see it. That's going to be like a 30 minute fucking question. So for this question, it's only coming in a 55% accuracy. Do I apply for other jobs or will that push it away? Don't worry about pushing it away. Number one, you're caught in some energy there.

What do you really want? What do you really wish for? Focus on that. It seems more improbable. My hunch is if it's only 55% yet, you can do way better. But I'm not giving you advice. I'm not telling you what to do. It's your decision. But yeah, I mean applying for other jobs might not even push it away. It might have it come there. This is kind of like, you know, back in the day if you're in high school or like, you know, an amateur person who's an adult, you know, you might, you know, be a person about town who's doing all these things to catch the attention of someone else. I'm like, oh, look how cool I am.

I got all these people around me, blah, blah, blah, blah. Sometimes they can attract other people a certain type of person. Is it the type of person you want to attract? I don't know. That's up for you to decide. So I don't know. It's whatever you want. If you want the job, it's yours. If you don't want the job, I want another job. Truly. That's how it works. It sounds silly, but it is selecting the reality and the things you want in this life. All right. Number 10. Do you think that there is something encoded in specific desires that is important for some kind of expression or the deeper cell or watcher, writer, ultimate self, whatever the self entity that experience consciousness is called.

So what's just called God? It's easy, right? We come up with, I do it to all these different names and let's just call God. It's just easy. G-O-D, whatever. It's all good. Uh, what do you, I don't know if that has negative connotations called source, called energy, called universe, call it, you know, you know, whatever. Um, yeah. This is a good question. Unless I think there's specific, yeah, our desires are literally the things that we have specifically designed for ourselves to wake up and realize that we are everything. So yes, the specific thing is the magic and the wisdom and the love and the support that we've given ourselves to wake up and do what we're here to do.

It's so fun. Oh my God, and in a timeline where we can talk about this and do it, holy shit. That's so fucking cool. So yes, yes, yes. The specific thing is you. The specific thing is coming out and follow your desires. Okay. Question number 11, why do monotheistic religions like Christianity characterize the idea of praying to or worshiping multiple gods is such a bad thing by jumping into other gods. Are we even praying to or worshiping them? What's your opinion on all this? Okay. Yeah. All right. Boom. Great question. So I think people have used the Bible and other monotheistic books and they just don't want the fuck they're talking about.

Can I say that clearly enough? They don't know what the fuck they are talking about. And what I mean by that is one God certainly encompasses all of their gods. And that doesn't mean that like my God is better than your God. It means the only God is I am. It's consciousness, it's you, it's me, it's everything. And from there, whatever imaginal acts we create are also real. So that means if we give that God a name and, you know, give it attributes, then it's also real. So it's both things. It's that there is really only one God that is a hundred percent accurate, but every polytheistic religion and contemplative science acknowledges this.

They're not in disharmony at all. They have the concepts of Brahma and Shiva and all these different things in Vedic and Buddhist. Like it's all there. It's all good. They're not in conflict at all. They're in perfect harmony, but recognize that the gods, the deities, the demons, all of these things are real because they come from within us. We project it out and give it material substance and therefore it's real. So the people who say it's bad, they don't know what they're talking about. In the context of the Bible, if they say you're worshipping like a false God or something like that, like a golden calf, it just means you're worshipping this.

Why? It sounds like a worship. Worshiping. Can I not say this? Is that how you say it? It sounds weird to me. You're worshipping. Oh my God. Now it's like a fucking thing for me. All right. You're doing the thing where you praise, you know, like a golden calf or something. It's not. It's just your senses. You're paying attention to things that's not you, your God, your Jesus Christ, your Buddha, your Krishna, you're all of those things. I am. So metaphorically, that makes total sense. There really is only one God and you should know that first before you start getting attached to multiple deities is just because it's more complicated.

If you live in the God realms, like the gods realms, the gods all have their problems too. Great. Go look at the Buddhist cosmology of what's going on, like the gods and the demigods. One of the Vedic traditions, they all have their like desires and like envies and it's like, so you don't want to hang there too long. So if you stay in unity consciousness, recognize who you really are, you don't have to worry about that. But none of these things are in conflict and, you know, I defy anyone to try to prove me wrong. It's just you're looking at, you're probably not you, but one is looking at things literally if they think that there's any conflict.

There could never be any conflict. Yes, we're constantly moving forward because current and new imaginal acts or new imaginal acts are constantly destabilizing current ones. That's why things continue to grow in a ball, but it's all in harmony. Oh my God. Okay. What's your perception on transurfing and your mental conception is the imaginal acts similar to transurfing? Okay. All right. So this fucked me up. So I was about to give some dinghycy off the cuff remark and I was going to talk about what I thought transurfing was, and it was going to be wrong. It was going to be me projecting and doing the thing exactly that you don't want to do with any of this stuff.

So I started reading the transurfing stuff and I couldn't put it down. I'm like 200 pages, 250, 20 pages in, and it's really good. It's really, really, really, really, really good. I don't agree with all of it. I think it fits in perfectly with imaginal acts. I think the ideas of the energy systems he describes with the pendulums and the wave of success and all of these things are wonderful constructs and very close to completely accurate for realities. However, I do believe it is also just another modality and language that we're using to describe something. And I would say that we couldn't understand.

I would say that we can understand, and the understanding is that it's you. You are everything. You are doing everything. Transurfing works because you believe it to work just like anything else. I will say, and I'm going to cover this in another episode, all this stuff I just mentioned, the pendulums and the wave of success and dependency and all of this stuff. Yeah, it fits in real nice. It's a nice segue from like gods to Christianity, it's kind of like a national acts and transurfing. So imaginal acts is the God, like Christianity there and transurfing is like the gods. That's how I'd look at it.

And I didn't line these questions up like that, but yeah, I'm really into the transurfing stuff. It makes a lot of sense. A lot of the practical techniques he gives. I know for people who haven't kind of like totally like, whoa, holy shit, I know what's going on here. It's a dream. It's on some real good practical tips. So I will do a whole episode on Transurfing. Let me finish the book. I'm only halfway through. I can't comment fully, but I can tell you that it fits in perfectly. It's like basically the same thing. Note how many times he says imagine and it's like uncanny. You'll see whenever you pursue any real worthy tradition, imagine is that like the root of it.

That are music or sound. Feeling music or sound or at the root of all of this stuff. It's so cool. I love it. Right timeline. So yeah, Transurfing is fucking great. What's the name of the thing to have it? I don't know, it's somewhere. It's good. If you join the thing, I mean, it's copyrighted, but you know, just like hit me up or whatever. Just know, pay for it if you can, hit me up if you need it. It's all good. Okay. Okay. Question number 13. How do you think business, entrepreneurship and capitalism will evolve alongside the higher levels of consciousness? Great question. Think about it a lot of time.

No people who are super plugged into the capitalist system. No people hate the capitalist system. I neither hate or love it. I kind of love it in some ways, but I recognize the shit it does can make a subservient to these capitalist business, corporate corporation systems, which don't care about human beings, which are kind of like the pendulums and Transurfing or like negative thought patterns that we imagine and can't escape. I think it's way more collaborative that the business of the future is not worrying about having a billion dollars, but maybe like if you work really hard on something super fucking awesome, like you and a bunch of people having like millions of dollars, like that's fine.

People can have more or less. You don't have to be automatons with the same exact things. That would be, wouldn't be any fun. But I think businesses are going to have to support people first and foremost. I mean, I don't think that I know that. And that's where we're moving. I see it happen. That's why we're getting together initially at these places and having a good time and connecting with each other and helping each other. So we start there and then we basically just extend that into our business worlds where it sees where we see it needs to be. Just imagine this stuff, I think it's not going to be some drastic thing.

I do think cryptocurrency is going to be a big part of it. I've thought this for a long time. I haven't backed off that at all. It feels right in every way for me. So I think that's going to be a massive transfer of wealth. I also think there's going to be a lot of people who have accumulated a lot of wealth who are willing to now spread it around and as long as, you know, not be too attached, like even like some people are like, well, I want to give it only to the right causes. Well, you know what? If you have so much, it doesn't even matter. You can just scattershot it sometimes. Of course, you want it only to be the right causes, but sometimes you maybe have to learn that.

But anyway, yeah, I think it's going to be pretty seamless. It's going to seem like nothing big has happened, but then we'll have some examples of companies and entrepreneurship just being like, whoa, and we already have these examples. Let's be clear. Like YouTube and Instagram and all these social media things, which a lot of people don't like because they're run by big corporations are incredible platforms that have helped people to connect in massive ways. Like, I also just think it's important to look at the existing systems and love them too. It doesn't mean you're subservient to them and they let them abuse you, but just extent they need love too.

That's how you heal shit. So if you can do that, you're already there in the new world of business. Number 14, should I be thinking of the same goal for each of these exercises until it's realized or is one time for any subject best? Yeah, it's the end of the reverse of the earlier question. If you feel it and you're good with it, you're good to go if, or is one time for any subject best? Yeah, I mean, it's not what's best. It's when you feel the desire is kind of gone or like you have it already. That's that's the goal, I would say, because then you'll know you're like, oh shit, that's happening.

Fuck. Yeah. So that's the feeling we're looking for however many times. You can do it a lot. You can do it not a lot. Just like it's just be easy breezy about it. Don't stress it too. A lot of these questions you're probably just overthinking it. That's totally this is the time to the season for this stuff. Don't feel bad about that either. It's like everyone is doing this me included. Even me. Oh, madtically. No, but everyone is doing this. It's all good. It's part of the process. Don't judge it. Last question. Holy shit. I can't believe I did this in under an hour. Fuck yeah. All right, number 15, hopefully I didn't speak too soon.

I went back and listened to your three intro, imaginal podcast and you mentioned that you'd be willing to send out some positive thoughts, imaginations. My focus is deeply reconnecting with the loved ones from my youth. Would you be able to focus on that along with my own technique? Yeah, absolutely. You got it. Let me drink some water first. Hold on. Yeah, you got it, you can ask, you can do, I'm recording a podcast. That was Alexis calling me, so that happens all the time. Yeah, I got you. Good question. Yes, is the answer. The case people don't know if you have things you would like me to imagine for you because yes, that is how this works.

Works like this works exactly how you would want it to. On the website, imagine there's a tab that says imagine, fill it out, send it to me. I imagine it for you. That's it. Do you believe that that works? Because if you do, oh boy, thank you for listening to this episode and sticking with me through all the coughing and the water drinking and the calls and the fans and the who else knows what will happen before I hit stop. But I very much appreciate it. Go here's the deal. There's going to say a few things here. If you want to come to a live event for Synchronous City and you want to help shape what that looks like, then fill it the form at the bottom of this podcast and on the episode and on the website.

And I'll send it out on the email list, so sign up for that if you haven't already and more water. Also if you want the to be on an episode and have a free reading for an episode, fill out that. There's links to that everywhere. Also, we'll come on the email list and then what else was it? That's it. I don't know. Sign up for readings. They're super fun. Sign up for readings with Jessa. I just had mine today with her. Amazing. She's the best. Love her. That's it. I think that's it. Yeah. Great and review. All that fun stuff. Go check out some other podcasts on MindPod Network. Oh, I have something for you to do.

Go pester Michael Donovan and tell him to finish this fucking site. Be like, "Yo, Michael, finish this site." I'm obviously not mad at him, but I like to play with him. So go horing him until he does it, until the guilt is so overwhelming. He's at the Michael Donovan on Instagram. Go hit him there. He'll respond. I know him. So let's get him to do that so we can add. There's like four people who are like, "Oh, my, I'm putting that work on their shit isn't up there." And they're probably like, "No, what the fuck is going on? I just want to publicly put Michael Donovan on blast." So do that. That's it.

We're done. We done. I will see you probably in a couple of days with either a solo. I definitely have a guess. We'll see how that goes. [sighs] Happy? Imagining. [music] [music] [music] [music]
