Dharma and Jalad at Tanagra
About this episode
Noah borrows a classic Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, where Picard learns an alien language made entirely of metaphor, to ask what dharma really means. He separates the Sanskrit idea of sustaining, soulful work from hustle culture and AI-fueled output maxing, drawing on the Bhagavad Gita and his own burnout from spiritual work. He closes on radical responsibility, authenticity, and work done as an offering rather than a transaction.
“You realize how much of your own suffering really is self-created.”29:46
Moments worth hearing
“It's better to do your Dharma your work imperfectly than it is to do someone else's perfectly.”
“If you're constantly chasing the end result, the outcome, you're never going to be satisfied.”
“It's not a transaction. You're not doing something to get something.”
Star Trek TNG and Dharma because I had to justify calling this episode a (bad) pun.

(upbeat music) (upbeat music) Welcome to Synchronicity. You remember when I used to call out that like episodes were gonna be bangers before they were? Well, this is definitely one of those episodes. I'm really excited to share this. It's the fusion of two things I love so very much. Star Trek the next generation and weird SO terrac terms that are commonly misunderstood. It's good stuff. So before we get to that, let's get to the things that are going on right now. Big one is November 1st. There is the imagination challenge. I could have come up with a better name, I think. But basically, it's 30 days, 30 techniques.
You get a short email every day. I've sent this out to the list and posted on social media. I'll talk about it one more time before November, but this is just like a fun group thing we're doing. It starts November 1st. As soon as you sign up, you get a workbook. You can start on your own. It's very simple. It's very easy. It's all baseline shit I've talked about on this show, that should be fun. Sign up for that. I think it's syncpodcast.com/challenge if you just wanna go there and sign up. If you haven't already, go and do that 'cause it's gonna be fun. Some other things, wanna talk about, let's talk about the Patreon, not as a lore to get you to sign up for things.
I'm talking to the people who have been on Patreon in the past who are current subscribers. Let's be clear here. This has essentially been like, getting into an abusive relationship with someone. You join, you get all this stuff, you get love bomb, there's amazing things, and then you call me and I ghost you, and I don't pick up the calls forever, and then I text you at like 3 a.m. being like you up, and you're like, what the fuck is this guy? And that's pretty much how the Patreon has gone, I'd say, most of the time, I will say, I've made some major upgrades, like I, of course, appreciate everyone signing up.
I probably would never pick up the ghosted phone call if I did gotten a relationship like this. So the fact that a lot of you have remained, I appreciate it truly from the bottom of my heart. I really do. But you know, essentially I've been trying to like make it good, make it better, make it worth it. So there's a lot of changes that I've made. I've posted about this on the Patreon and the free tier and I think in the email list. So basically now if you sign up for the basic $7 tier, you get all of the apps I'm working on. That's the tarot app, the Vedic Strology one, the Western astrology one, imagine which by the way, just made it to the Apple App Store.
You can check it out. Search. Imagine. I am a G I N A L. That's their got one in there. Nine paths with it, which is a numerology thing, night glyph, a dream interpretation. I'm working on a lot of apps and I try to make sure they're actually pretty awesome before Release them the seven dollar tier gets you access to all those premium It's just a one-click thing you sign up on the site and then you unlock it on patreon We also have the weekly readings. We're getting live streams are coming back. There's stuff to do live in person It's good. Fuck it. We'll do it live below Riley So yeah, there's that and I know I'm gonna forget I don't really come up with notes and shit for this I probably should I know there's a lot of other things Oh, yeah, the $13 and $22 tiers now get a free horoscope like a month ahead look horoscope That's based on your birth details. So it's specific to you You get that from signing up. You get everything in the $7 tier. There's music. There's playlists. There's other stuff I'm not trying to convince you to join I just am announcing because I feel good about getting this stuff going again You know, there's stuff there now if you wanted to explore if you want a free trial membership Just to see if you want to do this you can also hit me up Noah at sync podcast calm, and I think patreon allows that now, so I will you know provide that if need be There's also going to be a lot of other stuff that I'm working on behind the scenes that you have access to before I've really been enjoying just like building things a lot of stuff that I wasn't able to do in the past because of like technical Deficiencies, I'll tell you this AI stuff Gets us pretty good. It's not so bad And I don't think you should be fighting it so much if you are it's cool if you use it correctly You can't just generate AI slop and send it out to people or create some like vibe-coded app That's just bullshit. It actually has to be useful My rule of thumb when I'm making things is I start with like would I use this?
Is this something that I would find beneficial? That's how I build everything That I've built so far like it's something I want I try to find a tool that has it if it doesn't I'll build it So that's what we're doing over there. Anyway long spiel about the patreon. Sorry about that. Let's get to the good stuff the episode Dharma and jalad at tonagra if you're one of maybe like 10 people who will get the reference then congratulations. You've done it. You're a nerd you like Star Trek I have outed you and here you are. For those of you who are not initiated into the realm of Star Trek TNG Great show, please watch it. You will thank me later There's a classic episode probably if not my favorite episode definitely one of my favorites Darmuck and July at Tanagra. So this is an episode I'm going to give you some feedback apologies if you know the story just so we can weave it into this Forced pun that I did for the title of the episode so Dharmak in Jalad at Tanabra is basically Captain Picard Who's the captain of the USS Enterprise and Star Trek the next generation gets stranded on a planet with some alien dude?
Who he has no idea what's going on while they're on this planet. They're also being attacked by this like menacing thing that's trying to kill them so Picard is trying to communicate to this dude He's like, "Hey, man, like we got to kill this thing, "or we at least have to escape, "we're not going to survive if we can't communicate." And all this dude keeps telling him is things like Darmok and Jalad, at Tanagra, Shaka, in the walls file. Like all these weird sayings, he's knowin', they're lookin' it up on the enterprise, he's Picard is communicating with him while he's stranded on the planet. He's like, "What are these words mean?
"I don't understand what he's saying." Long story short, I'm not gonna explain the entire Star Trek episode in a podcast, But long story short, you come to find out that the way these people communicate, the guy he's stranded there with, is through metaphor. Everything is related to a story. It's not just the words that they're saying, it's the content and context of the stories that they're relaying, which kind of inform what's going on. So what's revealed is, Dharmak and Jalad at Tanagra is like a famous story where there's like a catastrophe happening, and two people who had never really kind of gotten along or communicated well, had to come together to defeat a common enemy.
So it was kind of like a story of overcoming adversity through communication, through coming together. Chaka and the walls fells were the scenario where this thing was happening, it was a crisis, and they had to come together. So he keeps saying these things, there's other sayings he'll get into, if I can remember them, I'll say them later, but basically everything is communicated through metaphor. the word itself doesn't just hold the whole foundational meaning, the words themselves. So I was thinking about, before I even thought about the Star Trek episode, I was having an episode here on kind of like Dharma, right?
Dharma is this idea. The root Sanskrit word means like sustaining or like a foundation for something. What it's traditionally meant as kind of in Vedic and then later in some aspects, some Buddhism, basically it's what keeps things together. it's what sustains things from, so they don't like kind of spiral off into chaos and just like crazy things. Commonly, it's interpreted to mean kind of your work, your like spiritual karmic work, your Dharma that you need to do. And this has been conflated and kind of, you know, bastardized in many different ways 'cause you know, there was the Dharma and Gregually, by the point they're naming like sitcoms after, you know, a word from Sanskrit, you know, you've kind of gone in a weird direction with stuff.
Dharma and Greg, you know what I'm talking about? Okay, sorry, that's a really old reference. I'm sorry if you weren't born when that was out. But basically, this idea of Dharma is your spiritual work that you're meant to do. And a lot of people can use this in a lot of different ways. It means, well, I should be the most holy and ethical person. You know, the highest ideal that I could reach to, reaches like a sadhu or an ascetic who like goes out into the mountains and lives off nettles you know Allah millarepa yes that is Dharma for some people but Dharma is also like the Dharma of raising a family and being a householder or doing whatever work you truly feel compelled to do and there's a famous saying in the Bhagavad Gita which is basically you know it's better to do your Dharma your work imperfectly than it is to do someone else's perfectly, kind of alluding to the fact that we all have our role to play, we all have our roles to play, and it's better for us to focus on what actually we feel motivated and kind of intuitively and on a deep soul level feel inclined to do, right? So this word Dharma though has been kind of taken to mean like just work and work that you're doing, and what's weird about it is we see this kind of seeping into the culture at large where we talk about kind of like hustle and grind culture and those words aren't as commonly used as they have been in the past, right? We don't hear like hustle and grind so much. But now it's like in the flow, you know, like maxing all of these things that basically, you know, is it really like, are you supposed to be following this logic that working as hard as possible, as much as possible, is the way of things?
Or are you missing the ball when that is kind of your focus? Now, this particularly comes in-- I know I'm guilty of this, especially recently-- with AI, with this ability to kind of 100x your output and work on 10 different projects at a time and take on roles that you would never take an on before, like product designer, web developer, whatever it is. What's the limit to that? Do we just do that in perpetuity and like just keep maxing out whatever effort we can get at any given time? Is this the goal? Is this the end? Kind of sound like Tucker Carlson. Is this the goal? What are we doing? But truthfully, like, what is the point of working on all of this stuff more and more and more and just kind of like trying to maximize our output, the reason that tends to not work for people is you're ultimately chasing the fruits of your labor, right?
And it's nothing wrong with, you know, achieving and getting the fruits of your labor, but if you're constantly chasing the end result, the outcome, you're never going to be satisfied. This is like Buddhism 101. This is like Vedic 101. if you're chasing something to fulfill yourself, that chase is ultimately what becomes the motivating factor of your life. And it's very difficult, if not impossible, to satiate that by getting things or achieving more. This is why we see, like, people look at billionaires and they're like, these motherfuckers, what's wrong with their brains? Like, they just keep hoarding all this wealth and like, you know, there's so many people suffering and all of that is true, and I'm not arguing that.
And I think being a trillionaries, a ridiculous pursuit, sure, work to where you're comfortable and secure as best you can be and this very quickly feeding flicker of a life that we have, that we all think is so long. But the reason this ends up happening to people, not just the richest of the rich, but in different areas, people pursue all types of things to their maximum, is because there's this craving that comes with it. I need more of the thing. I'm good at this. I know how to do this, so I'm gonna keep doing it until I can max it out. This is why the term maxing has become so popular. You could just look at it like, you know, goofy springing out from looks, maxers, and now everyone's like maxing everything all the time, is because that's how we're subconsciously as a culture, we tend to view reality.
How do we get the most out of it? How do we squeeze the most out of this thing where we can then continue to squeeze more out of it. And obviously this leads to a lot of dysfunctional systems, should we say, because it's not gonna be what's best for everyone, even the people engaging it. You would think like, if money bought happiness and money bought love and all of these things, the richest people in the world wouldn't have any of those issues. And we can see like some of the more dramatic issues with some of these billionaires that they have in relationships and ethical concerns related to their businesses and the future.
All of these things are sprouting up because ultimately, what are they working for? Is it legacy? Is it this idea that you'll live on past your kind of natural lifespan? I don't know, but there's a point to kind of doing stuff in the world. we tend to think like if we can go to the like the full Ramdasian Maxim be here now don't be doing nothing just be being present that is very satisfying and very possible if you are going to meditate for the rest of your life life lives and you know share that with the world to benefit quieting down the mind and the powers that can come with that but for a lot of people we have to do shit you can't you know be here now all of the time be completely totally present you can is the kind of secret but like for most people we have to kind of move throughout the world those things actually aren't at odds and one of like the best kind of examples of this is the Bhagavad Gita right this is where Arjuna is like and Krishna meet before the precipice of a huge battle Arjuna has to fight his family and like he doesn't want to do it and he And he basically tells Krishna, who's like the God, and he's like, I don't want to fight.
Like, why would I want to kill people? I don't want to fight. It's not Dharmic. It's not what I'm supposed to be doing. And Krishna is like basically like, yeah, this is kind of what this is what you have to do. This is your Dharma. And not fighting isn't an option. You do need to take this kind of Dharmic action and this is what is meant to happen. And it's a whole thing. I'm not going to spoil the Bhagavad Gita for you, but it's like a key part of like what one needs to do in life. You can't just not do, right? You can't not be, that's clear. We're here, we have awareness, no matter how much you wanna shut it off, even when you sleep, you dream.
It's like your consciousness and awareness is still like, it's like, you know, I'm still gonna do stuff, even when your body shuts down, I'm gonna keep doing things. Probably what happens after death, not speculating too much, but just a good chance of that. So, you know, what does this have to do with like kind of understanding what these stories are trying to tell us. And if you know anything, I'm a huge fan of allegory. I'm a huge fan of metaphor. Neville Goddard spoke about this constantly in terms of interpreting scripture from the Bible as metaphors, as personifications of ideals and qualities.
And that's where this kind of like dovetails in in a pretty awesome way with the Star Trek thing, Dharma and Jalad at Tanagra. What are we trying to communicate when we say there is spiritual work we need to do. What happens when we are just doing for the sake of doing, maybe even in a spiritual field, and I'll talk about that in a second, but you know, it's not really sustaining us. It's not fueling us. It's not scratching that kind of thing that makes us feel alive and what we want to be doing in life. Do we just keep doing more? More Dharma, Mac Dharma Maxing? Is that what we're doing? We'll Dharma Max.
Should I just call this episode Dharma Maxing? We'll just do that. If we can understand what the word means, sure. But we're trying to understand the context and the content of what is being communicated by darmic action, by doing spiritual work. Is it just about doing? Clearly not. So one example I can give is my own life, right? I've worked with a lot of nonprofits in the spiritual sector. In the past, I had many great experiences. I had some not so great experiences. I've done readings for years going almost a decade now. You know, I'm building spiritual apps. I talk about manifestation, I talk about synchronicity.
These are all things that have weirdly become part of kind of my work, what I do in life and kind of it also leads to revenue. So in my life, what I have found is there is in, there's a spark, there's something you need if you're doing something kind of in the spiritual realm that ultimately will make it feel, like, qualitatively fulfilling. That's the word I'm looking for. And it's also totally possible at times to feel completely burnt out doing that, especially if you're doing any kind of like one-to-ones or outward-facing stuff. You get hit with a lot of like incoming trauma, you know, difficult experiences.
People can sometimes be verging on psychosis or going into full psychosis. You guys know who you are. You know, there's a lot of kind of like sensitivity you need to bring to doing that. And if you're not operating from kind of like your, your at least baseline highest level, things can get funky pretty fast, right? That's like, I know it seems sometimes like I disappear. I mean, I do. I disappear for months on end, sometimes almost a year. Those times are when like, I cannot do this, either recording a podcast or communicate regularly. It's because I'm burnt out from doing that, and I recognize it is far more harmful to continue to kind of push with an inauthentic voice and tone of voice, and just what you're communicating energetically, that's doing everyone a disservice.
First and foremost, it's doing myself a disservice because it's being completely inauthentic. I'm trying to force something. This was more possible when the show was just kind of like guest only because at least I could interview people and not have to like have an opinion on things but once I kind of shifted in like 2019 to like a lot of solo episodes even with guests kind of sharing more it's you can't fake that I don't think and I think when people do fake it you can sense it very quickly people even though we've been kind of sucked into this digital cavern world at this point I do think people are getting the ability to discern what people's intentions are and why they're doing something seems like a skill that we are getting better at discerning. Now, we obviously bring in a lot of our own bullshit and a lot of our own perspectives and we can be making up stories about why other people are doing things, but authenticity is still kind of like a prized possession. If you can be an authentic person, I think, well, you're going to be okay no matter what happens, no matter kind of what weird technological and collective shifts we go through.
But when you see people doing it, like, you know, on Instagram, if you watch one spiritual thing, if you watch one Bashar thing, you're gonna get hit with all these people doing like really, to me, looks like wacky and weird stuff. So a lot of people, Bashar, is already, if you don't know Bashar, Darryl Anka, channels being Bashar, you know, take what you want, don't take what you don't need, that type of view I have of Bashar. But, you know, they start showing me people with like, there's this dude, I guess he's been around forever, has like huge white hair, like whatever you're imagining, it's crazier than that.
If you saw Jean Field, Jean Field, the AI thing that took over like a few weeks ago on Cryptoscam people, it's like that, but a million times his hair. And I guess he's been around, I don't remember his name. He's been around for a long time, but like this is like, I mean, he's like, I just sent you abundance. I sent you $500,000 worth of abundance. I sent you healing to your right knee. You don't have allergies anymore. And he's just saying it to them. And listen, they're spiritual healers. Maybe he is healing these people. Maybe he is sending them specific dollar amounts through the universe and they're receiving it at some point.
But to me, on the outside, it does look like such an obvious ridiculous con that it's like, how does this guy get up and do this every day? Maybe he truly believes that is his Dharma. And maybe that's why it works for some people. And maybe for people like me who look at it from the outside are like, what the fuck is up with this guy? Maybe I'm the judgey asshole. I don't know, but the guy looks fucking insane. I'll try to get his name at some point. I saw another one on Instagram. This woman dressed up also like insanely. They're all like costumes. They already had these like crazy hairdos and weird outfits and super high shoes.
It's fucking weird. And you know, it's the same thing. And to me, it looks like how do these people summon the strength internally to just go out there, dress up in a costume, and say like, totally out of pocket shit to people. You know, no low key anything. Just like, you are healed. Your cancer is gone. Like, just crazy shit. And I'm assuming these are confident. What I'm watching is there's like, hundreds if not thousands of peoples in these like, you know, concert halls who are eating this shit up. So I mean, I don't know, maybe dude, see me as a Maharajee. I don't know, I have no idea. But my point is, even if it's not spiritual work per se, doing something because you feel like you are compelled, like you have to do it, not in like an enriching soul level way, but just like you've got to grind.
You've got to work more. You've got to use AI to get better at what you're doing. You have to use AI to maximum your output. Otherwise, your job is going to get taken away. And if you don't adapt in this new world, some other young Zoomer or gen alpha kid is going to come in and build an app that just destroys your business and all this shit is happening By the way, I don't want to say that it's not happening that these things aren't legitimate kind of I Don't want to say fears or worries, but like listen the world is shifting very dramatically I can see even in my own life The amount I've been able to do and make and create over the past three months four months a little more is Not even doesn't even compare things that I would manually take me hours if not days to do you know or done in minutes So I understand there's this kind of like Tendency to want to utilize that to create as much as possible While you can and also some of us run into like the creative inspiration issue Sometimes everything really is just so flowy and so amazing, right? It's just like you can do whatever you can do no wrong I've been in those flow states many times in my life, so sometimes when you find them You're like I want to do the most with this and I think that's a healthy attitude to take But also recognize you don't always have to be doing things We live now in kind of this weird social media world where we feel like We have to have more output because the more output slash content that you put out there The more people will respond to it the more attention you get maybe the more influence you get maybe you're able to monetize that in some way and so it seems like a very alluring kind of path to take but it also can be kind of very much like a golden shackle situation where you're kind of tying yourself to something that if you change your mind God forbid one of the worst things you can do in life is change your mind you may be stuck or in a position that's uncomfortable and difficult. And guess what? That's your Dharma too. Any situation you find yourself in is going to be your quote unquote spiritual, darmic work, right? That's the kind of catch with all of this is what we feel like usually what feels like our spiritual work, like we're connected to the flow, we're high vibe in everything is love, everything is amazing. I'm not discounting any of that. I'm just saying when we're like that, that's usually not like heavy duty spiritual work.
it is spiritual work. The heavy duty spiritual work is usually when you're like, I'm very miserable. Life sucks. I don't see any way out of this. The choices you make in those moments, the difficult and challenging and obstacle and frustrating those things, that's really where we learn and kind of process karma and Dharma together. But you know, just seeing these terms like, I don't want it to get conflated that you need to be doing more as it seems like everyone around you is doing more. Also keep in mind like the general like this is my Instagram rule. If I see a couple constantly posting about how and love they are how amazing it's totally fine to do this once in a while anniversaries whatever special occasions no harm I love seeing happy couples but if you're like constantly if you see a couple constantly posting about how amazing their lives and how great they are, usually behind the scenes, there's something fucked up going on.
It's just people want to present the best versions of themselves because it's kind of an exaggerated version of how we engage in the world. If we all acted however we wanted to act at any given point, we would act like how my five year old acts at times when he doesn't get immediately what he wants at that very second. we would freak out, we'd be, we can't, they're society. We have to uphold society's laws in some ways, the social conventions related to them. So we store up a lot of these emotions and then usually exploded the people closest to us. Well, that's just my pattern, but maybe, you know, there are people who do it different ways.
My point is is that we have to kind of bring some social composure and that persona is what we bring into our daily lives. It's kind of the masks we wear, we won't go too deep into the Jungian stuff. But basically, online, it's at another level. You can't fathom how much people are just like fronting and larping and pretending to do things. Not everyone. And I think when you kind of like can sense or see what people are doing and like how they're doing it, you can then find like people who you can trust. And you don't put your complete trust into them. This isn't the age of the guru. I do think by the way, just calling my shot here in like 10, 20 years, maybe less.
There is gonna be a huge guru resurgence. There's gonna be gurus for fucking everything. There's gonna be people telling you exactly how it should be, not that there isn't now, but there is kind of like an anti-guru vibe. And I think it's just this idea of people taking more accountability and personal responsibility for their own lives as individuals. I think that's a very healthy thing, but the pendulum always swings. Gurus are the most important thing in the world. You absolutely need one to achieve spiritual enlightenment. That was in the past, then it swings and else you don't need a guru for everything.
Be your own guru. I've said this in the past, absolutely true, but it swings too far that direction. Then you gotta get a swing back in the other direction. The best thing you can do is recognize there are people who are wiser and smarter and have things to impart such as wisdom to you. Those people do exist, try to find them, try to interact with them, try to learn from them, And also do as much as you can by yourself, right? If we're talking about like ultimate Dharma, right? One thing I've learned is when you really kind of take on that responsibility for your life, for what is created around you, right?
Not from an egoic standpoint, you're the center of universe, you're God and everything would cease to exist without you. Don't get too caught up in the ego shit of it, but just take responsibility, fundamental responsibility, radical responsibility for your life, you kind of cut out a lot of the bullshit. You can't believe it's annoying, it's super fucking annoying, it's not fun, I don't know, I wouldn't say it's like, do this for a fun time, please, you know, get your ticket here, no. But it does cut out a lot of the bullshit. You realize how much of your own suffering really is self-created, how much of the things that feel like outside intrusive things from outside are really just projections of your own inner states.
And that means we can extend that out as far as you wanna go. But essentially, think about the words that are used these days for AI and tech improvements, utopia, abundance, things like this in the flow, manifest, aligned. These are all words that you would think would typically be related to like spirituality. This is all like AI terminology that people are using, right? This is work stuff, tech stuff. They've kind of like fused together. And I think it's important to recognize like the key distinctions between using words like that. This goes back to the Darmoc and Chilad. Just because a word is used doesn't mean that that's how it's being used, or that's what it actually means.
You have to understand the context and the content of what is being said. So yes, Shaka, when the walls fell. We are definitely in a Shaka, when the walls fell. Again, a kind of seemingly catastrophic point for a lot of people in their lives related to uncertainty in the future. But I do think it's a Dharmak and Jalad situation where a lot of us are going to realize like human connection, building things, being our authentic selves while sharing creativity is immensely important. And having knee-jerk reactions to things is it's very hard to get a Darmuck and July situation, right? You can't come together if you're constantly otherizing everyone else who doesn't agree exactly.
Like, that's where we are. I mean, I haven't had this issue. I was joking, I just made an Instagram post about, you know, like alienating fame. And I was like, I'm the best at alienating my audiences. And she's like, yeah, you're the only person better than me. I'm like, I totally am. It's just because I don't, I've never been someone, I'm not trying to come up with controversial views and things, but I also share how I feel because it's authentic and not like, I'm gonna tell you how I feel, bitch, not like that, but like people tend to react not so great if you have different views in them and it's harder and harder to tell where you're not gonna be 100% aligned with someone who feels strongly about one issue with you.
You know, maybe you think what's going on is a genocide. Maybe you don't. I guarantee if you align yourself completely with one side related to just that very hyperbolic, very kind of like intense, tense thing, you know, there's gonna be a ton of people who don't agree with you, right? About a lot of things. Maybe that are critically important to your life. And on an everyday basis, it's just, you can't be afraid to speak about these things, but I will say most people are being kind of like shushed And these conversations happen more behind closed doors, not in like an nefarious way, but like, not publicly.
Don't worry, I'll keep sharing my horrible opinions and you can keep flaming me for them and you know, you keep saying how awful I am. And you know, it's just my role to play. It's all, it's okay. It's okay. So one other thing I wanted to talk about, right, is in the "Darmuck in July" episode, look, I actually made a note for this. Soakah, his eyes uncovered, right? So near the end of Darmok, the card finally, like, understands that he's speaking the language. And the, what was he? Tamarian, the Tamarian guy, says, so-coth, his eyes uncovered, understanding. So he's speaking in metaphor and he's saying, yeah, now you fucking get it.
Now you understand how we communicate, let's do this shit, we gotta get out of this together, or we're gonna die. This is where we kind of, like, take the veil away from our eyes and truly try to understand, like, What the fuck are we doing here? Are our lives just like treadmills? Are we just stuck in a rat race? Are we forced here by the Illuminati or other people who are controlling whatever puppet strings? The Jews? God fucking, I'll tell you though, the, why Jews do get blamed for a lot of shit? So you think everyone's doing this stuff, but maybe it's just the Jews. I don't know. Regardless, he finally sees that he's able to kinda like, Understand and because of that understanding change can happen. It's very difficult if you're in a resistance Call it like the seven of wands energy where you're just kind of yeah seven of once not eight of ones That's the fast one seven of once where you're kind of like having to guard Stand your ground as though you're being attacked and I think a lot of people Take that stance these days because they don't understand what the fuck is going on It's better to understand that very few if anyone actually understands what's going on right from a macro to a micro level, people are just figuring out how to live their lives and not go crazy and pay their bills. And then if they can get that basic like root chakra stuff done, then maybe explore kind of like creativity and family and all these other awesome things that life has to offer. But people are freaking out right now. So to understand that you don't have to be trapped on that wheel and that like taking accountability for your own life allows you to connect with other people who have also made that decision and maybe you don't agree on every fucking thing. If you can only interact with people who share the exact same views for you, you would not have incarnated on earth. This is not the place for that. No one is the same, you know, unique snowflake or not. People just don't share the same views across the board on anything. I haven't found that. Take it from me. Very few people agree with what I say ever. Anyway, work work done is Dharma is ultimately like it's an offering, right? It's not a transaction.
You're not doing something to get something. You're not doing your spiritual work to attain the price of like heaven. You're not getting your 72 versions. If you do your darmic work of blowing yourself up, none of that. This is not a transactional thing. You're doing this in service to a higher creative force. That is also you. It's not like you're offering to this weird God sky person with the beard. Although you can do that if you want. This is for your own benefit. The more you kind of do things as an offering with awareness, whatever it is you're doing. This is ultimately the be here now stuff.
That is going to make your life. I don't wanna say work better because it's not gonna solve all of your problems. Maybe we'll solve the big ones. But it will at least give you the ability, at least you sure. at least give you the ability to process the relationship between how you feel, what you think, what you're telling yourself throughout the day, the pictures and stories and movies and feelings you are constantly prompting yourself with. And what you're getting on the outside world is everything always going wrong with you and for you and your relationships and your life. What's going on here?
I try to understand it's on a very like superficial level on some ways like, The fucking Volvo my Volvo sorry to complain about a Volvo on the podcast. This is truly setting a new low But the fucking infotainment system I don't care about you know whether I can listen to my music or my podcast But it controls the climate like and it's getting cold here And I can't run the heat and I have three kids in the car and so like I've been taking it into Volvo They could they said they fixed it they charged me money and they didn't fix it now I'm like and this whole thing with them and I'm like, what is this like?
telling me about my life. That like a critical function for the vehicle that moves me is offline. Where can I identify in my own life where a critical function in my own life is offline or glitching out? That's because I'm an insane person in how I view things and connections, but that's kind of the mindset you wanna shift into on some level. Like look at the things that happened to you in your life, not as outside completely different objective experiences, but how are they related to the vibe you are kind of walking into the world with and bringing to you in different situations? Good, good, I think we're good.
By the way, AI told me I should be inserting ads into the middle of my podcast telling you guys to do stuff. I'm not gonna do that, sounds annoying. AI is not always right, please check your AI, but I will say it does have some fantastic ideas and if you guide it, oh, that just reminded me. There's a, wanted me to, had an idea to build like a Tarot Solitaire game and submit it to the site crazygames.com that my kids play. Crazygames.com was like, no, this game is, this is not for us, no good. But I like the game, I was playing it, it's pretty dope. I'll put that up on the website, I'll try to get a link up and announce it to people who are interested in playing that.
It's literally just solitaire with tarot cards, and then it gives you a reading when you beat a level. It's pretty dope. Anyway, Darmoc and Jalod at Tanagra, This is Dharma in July at Tenoma Road. Love you guys. Bye bye. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music) [MUSIC] (upbeat music)
