Zodiac Siege: four heroes, and a new look
Zodiac Siege has heroes. A hero is a constellation that fights beside your towers.
Place your hero for free with the round button at the corner of the map. It grows stronger from every Void popped near it. At level 3 it gets a special ability, and at level 7 that ability gets stronger.
Orion, the Hunter, is yours from the start. It shoots one heavy star arrow at a time from far away. Its Belt Volley sends three arrows down the road.
Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, is the healer. It slowly gives the Sun back its light. Its Serpent's Cure frees nearby towers and shields the Sun. Win 10 battles to earn it, or win one while the real Sun is in Ophiuchus, from about Nov 29 to Dec 17.
Pegasus, the Winged Horse, circles its patch of sky and dives on Voids. Its Starfall Dive hits the biggest crowd on the map. It joins you at Astrologer level 7.
Draco, the Dragon, breathes fire that melts through armour. Its Coil holds the strongest planet still. Break 10 planets to earn it.
The game looks new, too. Each map has its own painted nebula, and the road glows with stardust. Towers breathe while they wait and recoil when they shoot.
Also new: two Voids. The Pulsar hurries the Voids around it, and a Binary Star's twin races ahead when you pop the first. Surprise Moon Surge and Solar Flare waves boost the towers of the real Moon's and Sun's elements. A 50-pop combo sparks a Stellium, and a planet broken within 20 seconds is a Swift Break.
Today's Sky and challenges stay hero-free, so everyone plays the same board.
